I was adopted by the Graves family when I was just a year old.
My brother Matt was four years old, three years older than me, and my sister Emily was five, four years older.
They were both really good to me, and I think they enjoyed having a new sibling to look after and play with.
Matt was into football even back then, and as I got older, he tried to get me involved in the game.
I didn’t have much coordination, but I was willing to give it a go.
I think he thought that if I could just catch a ball, I would be okay.
I wasn’t very good at it, but I did try.
He also wanted me to join clubs at school.
I think he thought that if I could find something I was interested in, I would meet new friends.
Again, I tried, but I didn’t have much success there either.
Emily was into fashion, and as soon as I was old enough, she took me shopping with her.
I didn’t mind it too much until she tried to dress me in the clothes she had bought for me.
I think she thought that if I looked good, I would feel good.
