When Julie Molina invites her best friends Fylnn and Alexa, over for a study day, she wasn't expecting Alexa to stumble in on her and her three ghost friends in the studio. Alexa knew that helping out a band that was made up of mostly ghosts was going to be difficult but she didn't think she'd be falling for the male lead singer Luke. Luke caught her eye as soon as she walked in but what she didn't realize was, that she caught him too.

When Julie Molina invites her best friends Fylnn and Alexa, over for a study day, she wasn't expecting Alexa to stumble in on her and her three ghost friends in the studio. Alexa knew that helping out a band that was made up of mostly ghosts was going to be difficult but she didn't think she'd be falling for the male lead singer Luke. Luke caught her eye as soon as she walked in but what she didn't realize was, that she caught him too.
Luke
He is the male lead singer of a band. He is creative, charming, and introspective. Luke forms a close bond with Julie, his bassist, and her friends. He struggles with his past as a child living in poverty but finds support from his bandmates. He becomes intrigued by Julie's intelligence and is drawn to her. During a performance, he accidentally ingests a toxic substance, and for a brief moment, he becomes delirious and sees his past clearly.
Alexa
She is Julie's childhood friend and vocalists in their band. She is witty, observant, and candid. Alexa often notices things that others miss and enjoys keeping everyone in check with her sharp tongue. She provides support to Julie during their band activities and shares a deep friendship based on mutual respect and trust.
Fylnn
He is Julie's childhood friend and drummer in their band. He is funloving, supportive, and carefree. Fylnn shares a strong bond with Julie and Alexa, marked by their long history together. He brings comic relief during their study sessions but is not opposed to getting down to business when needed. His playful nature sometimes gets him into trouble, but he remains a loyal friend throughout their adventures.
"Are you guys coming over or not? I don't want to start without you," Julie says over the phone.
I'm guessing she's talking to her friends.
I can hear the frustration in her tone.
"We're coming, we're coming," a girl responds.
"Stop rushing us."
"Alright, alright, I just don't want to start without you," Julie responds.
"Alexa, stop being so stubborn."
"Whatever, I'll see you soon," the girl responds.
Julie sighs and hangs up the phone.
She looks at me and shrugs.
"I guess we're waiting for her friends to get here."
I nod and smile.
"It's fine, we have time."
I pick up my guitar and start playing random tunes.
They're not songs but melodies that come to my mind when I'm bored.
Julie picks up her bass and starts playing along with me.
The sound of our instruments fills the room and creates a harmony that's soothing to listen to.
We play for a while until we hear the door knock.
"That must be Alexa and Flynn," Julie says as she puts down her bass and walks out of the room.
I place my guitar against the wall and wait for her return with her friends.
A few minutes pass and I hear voices and laughter coming from the living room.
They're loud and observant, noticing every detail in Julie's house.
