"What do you think happened?"
Maggie asked.
"I don't know. I have so many questions, but I don't know who to ask."
"Me too."
She sighed.
I looked at her.
"What did the tattooed woman mean when she said that everything is endless?"
"I have no idea."
"She said we would find out what happened when our memories return. But how do we even know that they will come back?"
I frowned.
"I don't know."
She sighed again and bit her lower lip.
I could tell that she was thinking really hard.
I didn't want to interrupt her, so I just waited for her to talk again.
After a few moments of silence, she spoke up.
"Let's go back to the store where we met the millionaire."
"What?"
I asked.
"Why?"
"He might know something. And if he doesn't, then maybe he can help us figure it out."
"Okay," I agreed.
"But what about our family? We still need to find out if any of them survived."
"We will. But first, let's try to figure out what happened. Then we can try to find them."
"Okay."
I nodded.
I had no other choice but to agree with her because I had no idea what else to do.
