female. She is the head of the Galindo Mafia. She is strong,determined,and ruthless. Ciara controls half of the city's drug trade and takes no prisoners. Raised by nuns,she rebelled against the strict environment and joined the mafia at seventeen. Married to Aram,a fellow interrogator and chemist,she shares two children with her partner. Despite her harsh exterior,she has a soft spot for her family and defends them fiercely.
Aram
male. He is Ciara's husband and a skilled chemist and interrogator. He is intelligent,sadistic,and hottempered. Aram is responsible for creating the infamous Spasm injection that he uses to intimidate and extract information from their victims. He has a volatile relationship with Ciara but loves her deeply. Aram's past is marked by a sense of loss,hinted at through his unfulfilled longing for a family and his sister's absence.
Courtney
female. She is Ciara and Aram's twelveyearold daughter. She is precocious,observant,and protective. Courtney watches her mother's brutal dealings with fascination and sometimes intervenes to protect her father from Ciara's wrath.
