I had been possessing bodies for years now, but this was by far the most daring stunt I had ever pulled off.

Once we were inside the police station, I knew it was time to start making my plan of action.
I needed to find a way to get out of here without arousing any suspicion.
But before I could even think about how I was going to do that, I saw a familiar face across the room.
It was Emily Carter, the rookie officer who had been assigned to be my partner earlier today. She looked so young and innocent, and for a moment I felt a pang of guilt for using her like this.
But then I remembered why I was doing this in the first place.
I needed money, and this was the only way I could get it.
So I pushed aside any feelings of remorse and focused on what needed to be done next.
I walked over to where Emily was sitting at a desk, filling out some paperwork.
"Emily," I said, trying to sound as natural as possible.
