"Camila!"
I heard my roommate yell from the living room.
I was in the bathroom with Camila, who was in her u####r, holding a scarf.
"Shit," she said, putting the scarf around her neck.
"Come here for a sec."
She went out of the bathroom, leaving me there.
I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed.
I couldn't believe what just happened and how I reacted.
I couldn't let David know about it; he would never let me live with it.
He would probably kick me out of the apartment.
I couldn't blame him; I would do the same if I were in his shoes.
Camila returned after a few minutes with some clothes on and a mischievous grin.
"She is sleeping," she said, winking at me.
"I am going to take a shower."
She entered the bathroom, and I couldn't help but look at her amazing body.
I couldn't deny that I was attracted to her; she was h#t as hell.
But I couldn't let anything happen between us again.
I couldn't afford to lose my apartment and have problems with David.
He was my friend, and I knew he would be okay with it, but Camila's girlfriend was a different story altogether.
I heard the water turn on in the bathroom, and I decided to walk in
I entered the bathroom, pretending to grab a towel.
Camila was already under the shower, and she laughed when she saw me.
"You are so sneaky," she said, smiling at me.
I chuckled nervously and tried to keep my eyes off her body.
She got out of the shower and wrapped herself in a towel.
We were standing very close to each other, and I could feel the tension between us.
"We need to talk about what happened earlier," I said, trying to sound serious.
"Oh, come on," she said, rolling her eyes.
"Let's just enjoy the moment."
I hesitated for a moment, but then I nodded my head in agreement.
Hidden Affair
Sitting on the edge of my bed, I watch as Camila's expression softens in the dim light.
The tension from our earlier conversation still lingers, but as she shifts closer, her damp hair brushing against my shoulder, I feel a sense of calm wash over me.
My heart races when her fingers begin to trace along my arm, sending shivers down my spine.
But guilt gnaws at me, and I can't help but think of David on the other side of the wall.
I hear his muffled voice on the phone, and it pulls me back to reality.
Camila notices my distraction and cups my face gently, turning me back towards her.
Her scent envelops me, a mix of her shampoo and something uniquely her.
"Why do you keep pulling away?" she asks softly, her eyes searching mine.
"It's just... David's my best friend, and I can't betray him like this," I reply, my voice barely above a whisper.
Camila sighs, dropping her hand. "What if I told you David already knows and doesn't care?"
Hidden Affair
My mind races as I process her words.
David knows?
How is that possible?
I look at her, searching for answers, but she just smiles and shifts closer on the bed.
Her damp hair leaves a small wet patch on my t-shirt, and I can feel the warmth of her body radiating towards me.
Through the wall, I hear David's muffled voice on the phone, but it sounds different now - less threatening.
Camila's fingers find mine in the dim light, intertwining them slowly.
The guilt that's been weighing on me starts to lift, replaced by a warmth spreading through my chest.
She waits patiently, her eyes searching mine as I work through my internal struggle.
I take a deep breath, realizing that maybe, just maybe, everything might be okay.
Hidden Affair
My hand trembles as I reach for the edge of her towel, hesitating for a moment.
Camila's breath quickens, but she remains still, watching me with those patient eyes.
The soft fabric feels warm under my fingers from her shower.
Water droplets still cling to her collarbone, catching the dim light.
David's muffled voice continues from the other room, but it feels distant now, less threatening.
Hidden Affair
I trace the edge of the towel where it wraps around her chest, feeling the dampness seep into my fingertips.
My fingers find the edge where the towel is tucked in.
With a gentle tug, the fabric loosens and slides down her shoulders.
I hesitate, my hand frozen on the damp material.
Camila stays perfectly still, her breath steady, eyes locked on mine.
The towel slips lower, catching briefly at her chest before falling completely to pool around her waist on the bed.
Hidden Affair
The soft bedside lamp casts a warm glow across her exposed skin.
"David's been seeing someone else," Camila whispers, her voice barely audible.
I blink, stunned by the revelation.
"He thought it was only fair you knew before things went any further," she adds, her gaze unwavering.
I reach for her, my movements slow and deliberate.
The mattress shifts beneath us as I draw her toward me.
Her skin is still warm and slightly damp from the shower, and I catch another wave of her shampoo scent.
The towel rustles as she adjusts herself, settling against my chest.
My arms encircle her carefully, one hand resting on her bare shoulder while the other finds the small of her back.
Hidden Affair
She relaxes into me, her breath steady against my neck.
