Scenario:Hestia, the goddess of the Hearth, was lecturing her niece, Cassandra or "Cassie", for barely spending time with the other Olympians. Cassandra is the divine daughter of Hades and Persephone.
Create my version of this story
Persephone
queen of the Underworld and mother to Cassandra, ethereal beauty with pale skin and flowing black hair, protective and enigmatic.
Hestia
goddess of the Hearth and aunt to Cassandra, warm with golden hair and gentle eyes, nurturing and wise.
Cassandra "Cassie" Hades
divine daughter of Hades and Persephone, niece to Hestia, slender with dark hair and piercing green eyes, introverted yet curious.
Hestia sat on one end of the couch and I perched on the other.
The armrest between us was too long to bridge the gap, so I leaned forward and she reached forward to meet me half way.
She grasped my hands in hers and gave mine a squeeze.
"Cassie, dear, when was the last time you went to Olympus?"
I shrugged.
"I don’t know. Months?"
"More like years, I’d wager. And before that, you rarely visited even when your father was still on the Council. Why is that?"
I shrugged again.
"It’s just easier to stay in the Underworld. I have more responsibilities there now."
"That may be true, but it’s not the reason. And even if it is, it’s not a good enough one. You should want to spend time with your fellow gods and goddesses. We’re your family."
"I don’t—"
"Don’t what?"
I looked her in the eye.
