I was Harleen Quinzel, a psychology student.
That night, I was on my way home from the library when three muggers blocked my path.
I was about to scream when suddenly those muggers were knocked out.
I looked up and saw the Joker, who had just saved me.
He stared at me with his piercing eyes, and I felt a chill run down my spine.
But then he smiled, and my heart skipped a beat.
"Smile with me," he said, his voice low and husky.
And I couldn’t help but smile back at him.
He took my hand, and I followed him to his hideout.
I knew my father would never approve of the Joker, so I kept it a secret.
But as I watched the Joker prepare for his next heist, I couldn’t help but feel drawn to him.
And when he asked me to be his partner, I agreed without hesitation.
Together we wreaked havoc on Gotham City.
The police thought the Joker had a new partner, but they didn’t know it was me, Harleen Quinzel, who had fallen for him.

I stand before the full-length mirror in the Joker's hideout, examining my reflection.
The old jester costume lies discarded on the floor, a relic of a past life.
Before me, I see a new version of myself.
The black and red bodysuit hugs my curves, accentuating every inch of my physique.
The material feels different from the old costume - stronger, more flexible.
I adjust the straps that crisscross my back, making sure they are secure yet comfortable.
A small smile plays on my lips as I run my hands over the suit, feeling its smooth texture.
I take a few steps back, admiring the way it moves with me.
It's like a second skin, conforming to every twist and turn of my body.
I decide to test its range of motion.

I kick one leg high into the air, feeling the suit stretch but not constrict.
Satisfied, I do a series of flips across the room, landing gracefully each time.
The suit moves with me seamlessly, allowing me to perform with ease. Finally, I stop in front of the mirror once more and zip up the front of the bodysuit.
I straighten my shoulders and strike a pose, admiring my reflection.
The suit feels right; it's as if it was made for me.

I turn to face the Joker, who has been watching from his chair all along.
His eyes follow my every move with an intensity that makes me shiver.
"Let's show Gotham what we're made of," I say, my voice steady and resolute.
I pause my acrobatics and meet the Joker's gaze in the mirror.
His expression changes from analytical to approving as he takes in my new form.
I strike a pose, the suit's material catching the dim light of the hideout.
He rises from his chair, adjusting his purple coat and walking over to his workbench.
"Time to gear up," he says, his voice filled with excitement.
I follow him, collecting my new equipment.
There are smoke bombs, playing cards, and a custom grappling hook that he designed specifically for me.
Each item has its designated place in the suit - hidden pockets and holsters that allow me to carry everything I need without hindrance.
The Joker hands me a domino mask, identical to his own except for the color.
I carefully position it over my eyes, securing it with a small elastic band.

The final touch is complete.
"Harley, you look like you were born for this," the Joker says, his voice a mix of pride and amusement.
I smirk, feeling a surge of confidence. "And what about you, Mistah J? Ready to paint the town red?"
He chuckles softly, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Oh, Harley, we're going to give Gotham a show they'll never forget."
