Our boss had been breathing down our necks, asking for updates every hour on when we would be finished with our projects.

Once I was finally able to leave the office, I was grateful to see my husband waiting for me at home.

"Hey, babe," Jack greeted me as I walked through the front door.
"How was your day?"
"It was terrible," I admitted.
"I had to deal with our lovely boss all day."
"I’m sorry," Jack said as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close.
"He’s a jerk, and I’m sorry that you have to deal with him every day."
"Thanks, honey," I said as I pulled back and looked up at him.
"You always know how to make me feel better."
"That’s my job."
He smiled and kissed me lightly on the lips.
"Now, how about some dinner?I was thinking that maybe we could order some Chinese food, and then afterwards, I can give you a massage."
"That sounds wonderful," I said as I smiled up at him.
"I would love that."
An hour later, we were sitting down to a wonderful dinner of Chinese food.
