Jackson is working as a High Inspector of Earth Human Reserves.
Earth Human Rerserves (EHR) is the agency taking care of earth in the year 2700.
In the year 2700, Earth had a few humans left, most of them working for EHR. Humanity decided to leve Earth develop without them, in a natural way.
In EHR were also botanists, other scientists and random task personnel. After the development of the AI Robots, humans never needed to work anymore, so they just enjopyed supervising different stuff. Some consider it a form of entertainment.
The robots named themselves Rumba as a species, in the honor of one of the first "robots". Weird choice. They know it was not a real robot.

His journey takes him to a Human Reserve in the Amazon,where he encounters a young girl named Lily and her caretaker,Dr. Elara Voss.

female. She is a botanist working at the Amazon Human Reserve in 2700. She is dedicated,nurturing,and resourceful. Elara oversees the reserve's botanical research and cares for Lily,a young girl who has been living there since birth. She welcomes Captain Jackson warmly and shares her findings about the reserve's unique ecosystem. Her work contributes to understanding Earth's natural evolution without human influence.
Lily
female. She is a young girl living in the Amazon Human Reserve since birth in 2700. She is curious,innocent,and playful. Lily has never seen humans beyond Dr. Elara Voss and Captain Jackson during his visit. Her interactions with Jackson reveal her natural intelligence and adaptability despite growing up isolated from human society.

The only ones that are still made by humans on Earth in the year 2700.
Everything else is made by the species that calls themselves Rumba.
After the first Autonomous Intelligent Robots were developed, humans didn't need to work anymore.
They just sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the view.
Some considered it a fun form of entertainment.
Others felt useless without a purpose.
But humans adapted to their new life as they did before with every new invention and innovation.
Earth had only a few humans left in the year 2700.
Most of them worked for EHR ā Earth Human Reserves.
In 2050, humanity decided to leave Earth and let it evolve on its own without their presence.
Earth was not meant to be inhabited by humans, they figured out.
So they left it to develop naturally, without human interference.
Most humans moved to colonies and space stations.
Only a few stayed to manage Earth Human Reserves until they could transition to other habitats as well.
