I swung through the city, my eyes scanning the rooftops below me for any sign of crime.
As Spiderman, it was my duty to protect New York City from criminals and wrongdoers.
But my mind wasn't really on the job.
My thoughts were consumed by her.
Black Cat.
Felicia Hardy.
She was a thief, a sometimes ally and sometimes enemy.
But she was also the one woman who had ever truly touched my heart.
We had been lovers for a while, but she had ended things between us when she had realized that she could never truly be with me.
That my heart belonged to another, no matter how much I cared for her.
I understood her reasons.
After all, I still carried a torch for Mary Jane Watson, the woman I had once thought I would spend the rest of my life with.
But that didn't mean that I didn't wish things could have been different with Felicia.
I wished that we could have been together, that things could have worked out between us.
Then my spider-sense went off and I looked down to see two figures climbing into a mansion through an open window.
One of them was clearly Catwoman, Selina Kyle, from Gotham City.
The other…?
I leapt down onto the roof of the mansion and crouched low, my eyes scanning the dark shadows around the windows.

I saw them through the skylight window, their faces lit by the moonlight.
The other figure was Felicia, her white hair shining in the light.
She was moving with her usual grace, her slender body bending and twisting as she moved around the room.
Selina prowled around her, her eyes scanning the room, watching for any sign of danger.
But it wasn't just a random heist.
They were after something specific.
Selina's movements were too precise, too deliberate.
She knew exactly what she was looking for, and where it would be.
Felicia moved over to a large glass display case, her hands reaching out to touch it.
Selina moved closer to her, her eyes scanning the area around them.

I crouched at the edge of the roof, my muscles tense as I watched them.
I hadn't seen Felicia in months, not since she had ended things between us.
My heart raced at the sight of her, but I forced myself to focus on the job at hand. They were both skilled thieves, but they didn't know this city like I did.
And they certainly didn't know me.
I could take them down now and turn them over to the authorities, or I could follow them and see where they led me.
Either way, I couldn't let them get away with whatever it was they were after.
I inched closer to the skylight, my eyes fixed on Felicia as she worked on disabling the security system that protected the display case.
She was so focused on what she was doing that she didn't even notice me watching her from just a few feet away.
But then Selina looked up, her eyes scanning the roof above them.
"Felicia, we're not alone," Selina whispered, her voice barely audible but filled with urgency.
Felicia paused, her fingers hovering over the security panel, and glanced up with a knowing smile.
"Peter, if you're going to spy on us, at least have the d###y to say h##o."

I hesitated, my mind racing.
*How had she known it was me?*
And what was she doing here with C###n?
But before I could respond, alarms blared to life and security guards burst into the room, their w###s drawn.
They surrounded us, their eyes fixed on S##a and F###a.
Felicia's smile faltered for a moment, but then she grinned w###y.
"Well, I guess we've been caught," she said, her v##e h##y.
Selina gave her a quick glance and then they both sprang into action.
Felicia leapt towards me, using my body as a shield as the guards o#####e.
I grabbed her waist, holding her close to me as I swung us out of the way of the b###s.
Selina d###d one of the g##s with a k#k to his s###h and then k###d him to the ground with a p##h to his j#w.
I used my web shooters to immobilize another guard's gun, but more kept coming.

They were too well-trained and too well-equipped for me to take down on my own.
And Felicia was right there in the middle of it all, her slender body weaving and twisting as she dodged their attacks. I knew I had to protect her, no matter how much I wanted to stop her from s###g whatever it was they were after.
But I couldn't do it alone.
"Selina!"
I yelled over the sound of g###e and a##s.
"We need to get out of here!"
She glanced up at me through the skylight, her eyes locked on mine for a moment before she nodded and turned back to f#####f the guards.
She made her way over to a large window on the other side of the room, using her agility and strength to fight off a##e who got in her way.
Then she motioned for Felicia to follow her.
Felicia gave me a quick glance before she tried to make a break for it.
But I wasn't going to let that happen.
I grabbed onto her arm, pulling her back into my arms as she s####d against me.
"Peter, let me go," Felicia hissed, her voice a mix of frustration and ################.
"Not until you tell me what you're really after," I replied, my grip firm but gentle.
Selina, now at the window, called back to us, urgency in her voice, "Felicia, we don't have time for this—either he helps us or we leave him behind."
