"I'm ready for you. Let's do this."
I nodded, taking a deep breath.
"I'm ready too."
"Remember the rules. No holding back. We're going all out."
"Got it."
"Let's do this."
We both nodded and then the bell rang.
I punched the air with my fist, moving my feet around the boxing mat and then I punched him in the face.
He blocked it and then punched me in the gut.
I punched him again in the face and then he did the same to me.
We kept on punching each other until we were both tired out.
We both stopped and then he gave me a smile before lifting my hands in the air.
"We're the champions!"
I smiled, looking at our trophy and then I shook my head.
"We just fought against each other and you're calling us the champion?"
"Well, we won't get jailed for beating each other to pulp."
I chuckled.
"You're something else."
"Thanks, man."
He let go of my hands and then we both walked down from the boxing stage.
Someone clapped her hands from the audience and then I looked at her.
She was a beautiful young lady with brown hair and green eyes.
I stepped down from the boxing stage and then I walked towards her.
My muscles were still tensed up from the match with Ethan.
I got to her and then I smiled.
"Hey, did you enjoy the match?"
She nodded, smiling.
"Yeah, it was great. You guys are really good."
"Thanks."
I said, looking at her.
"I'm Evelyn."
"Evelyn?"
She asked, looking at me.
"Yeah, Evelyn Carter."
"Oh, nice to meet you Evelyn. I'm Sarah."
She said, stretching out her hand for a handshake.
I took her hand and then shook it.
"So Sarah, do you like boxing?"
"Yeah, I do. I've been watching it for a while now."
"That's great. Do you have a favorite boxer?"
"Yes, Floyd Mayweather."
"Nice choice. He's a great boxer."
I said, smiling.
"Thanks. So Evelyn, do you box too?"
"Yes, I do. I've been boxing for a while now."
"That's great. Maybe one day you'll be a professional boxer."
"I hope so."
Ethan came over to us and then he clapped me on the back.
"Hey Evelyn, what's going on here?"
"Just chatting with Sarah here."
"Oh okay. Nice to meet you Sarah."
He said, stretching out his hand for a handshake.
She took his hand and then shook it.
"Nice to meet you too Ethan."
"So Sarah, did you enjoy the match?"
Ethan asked her. "Yeah, it was great. You guys are really good."
"We're not that good yet but we're working on it."
Ethan said with a smile.
"Well, you guys are good enough to make me laugh at some point during the match."
"What happened?"
I asked her curiously.
"Well when you both were fighting each other and then your pants fell off..."
We all burst out laughing at that moment.
"That was so funny. I couldn't help but laugh at that moment."
Ethan said with a smile.
