Scenario:Write a very long romance novel about two high school kids, Zak (short for Zakriya and his full name is Zakriya Ali) and Aaliyah (full name is Aaliyah Ahmed). Make it any interesting plot you want, add your own side characters to it, make it any GOOD TROPE, and add lots of drama and tension. Okay I like the characters and idea but don’t make them academic rivals instead make Aaliyah a top student but Zak is someone who’s like the guy everyone knows and talks to and Aaliyah only crossed paths with him for a university project that’s worth a good amount of their grade and what she doesn’t know is Zak’s bsf is a guy she used to absolutely loathe in high school. Zak is very much in love with his ex from high school and has no intention of pursuing anybody for a long time until he meets Aaliyah and how smoothly she enters his life and now he can’t see it without her and months later he starts developing feelings but doesn’t know how to come to terms with them. Aaliyah had a little crush on Zak from the start but after he opened up to her one day about how he’d never find any other girl to love when his ex love is always gonna be in the back of his mind she lost all feelings (or did she?) and bottles them up and moves on and gets attention from other guys but none of them she likes and deep down she knows it. Aaliyah is loud and snarky and competitive and zak is the opposite
