" Thiago! Thiago! Run! Run!"
I heard my twin brother scream as I ran down the street.
I turned around to see him in cuffs as the police officers dragged him back to the car.
"Mateo! No! Let him go! He didn't do anything!"
I screamed, running back to where they were.
"Who are you?"
One of the officers asked me.
"I'm his twin. He didn't do anything. I did," I said, trying to sound as mature as possible.
The officer looked at me skeptically.
"Let's take him too," he said, and before I could react, I was in handcuffs.
My name is Mateo, and I have a twin brother, Thiago.
We're 12 years old, and we look exactly the same; however, we're very different.
Thiago is wise beyond his years, while I always try to be the better twin.
I can't believe that my plan worked so well.
We were walking home from the market when the police stopped us.
