I hated her from the moment I saw her.
She was a year older than me, but we were in the same class.
I didn't like her smile, her laugh, or her overall personality.
She looked like a mouse with her glasses and long black hair.
I didn't know her name, but everyone else did.
The girl with glasses was known as the smartest kid in our school.
One day, while walking home, I saw her standing in front of an abandoned classroom.
She looked around nervously before going inside.
Curious about what she was doing, I followed her quietly and peeked through the window.
She took out a small bottle from her bag and a note.
She stared at it for a long time before sighing and putting them back in her bag.
Just as I was about to leave, she turned around and saw me spying on her.
Her eyes widened, and she quickly ran to the door to block my way.
"What are you doing here?"
I asked her.
"I...I came here to read books," she said.
There were no books in sight, and I could tell she was lying.
"What's your name?" I asked her again.
"My name is Kaida."
"I'm Ethan."
We stood there looking at each other for a long time before she finally spoke up.
"Ethan, can I ask you something?"
"What is it?"
"Do you want to be friends with me?"
I scoffed at her question and laughed.

"I don't know you."
I leaned against the doorframe, watching her fidget with the bottle in her bag.
Her shoulders tensed as she pulled out the mysterious container and held it between us like a peace offering.
The afternoon sun streamed through the dusty windows, casting long shadows across the empty classroom.
"This is a special potion that can help us understand each other better," she explained.
"It's perfectly safe."
I eyed her skeptically, but curiosity got the better of me.
With a final glare at her eager face, I snatched the bottle from her hands and examined it closely.
The liquid inside was a strange purple color, and it seemed to shimmer in the light.
I unscrewed the cap and took a hesitant sip.

The liquid burned down my throat, making me cough.
"Are you crazy?" I gasped, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand.
Kaida's eyes widened with concern. "I told you it was safe, but maybe I should have warned you about the taste."
"Warned me?" I croaked, feeling a strange warmth spreading through my chest.
My vision began to blur, and the burning sensation intensified, making me stumble against a nearby desk.
The room started spinning violently, and I caught a glimpse of Kaida's face, a mixture of worry and anticipation etched on her features.
I tried to speak, but my voice came out hoarse and barely audible.
"Ethan...Ethan!"
Her voice sounded distant, like she was calling out to me from another room.
I wanted to respond, but my body felt heavy, as if it were sinking into the floor.
The last thing I remembered was the sound of Kaida's panicked voice before everything went black.
When consciousness returned, I found myself lying on a soft pink bedspread in a bedroom that wasn't mine.
The walls were painted in pastel shades of blue and green, adorned with posters of K-pop groups that I didn't recognize.
A large window let in plenty of sunlight, casting a warm glow over the room.

Confused and disoriented, I slowly sat up and looked around.
My gaze fell upon my hands resting on the bedspread, but something was off.
They weren't my hands anymore; they were delicate fingers with pink nail polish. My heart raced as I scrambled off the bed and rushed to a full-length mirror mounted on the closet door.
The reflection staring back at me was that of a petite Korean girl with long black hair falling past her shoulders.
She wore a fluffy pink winter jacket over a white blouse and black skirt, which reached just above her knees.

I stumbled back from the mirror, my voice trembling. "Kaida, what did you do to me?"
Kaida appeared in the doorway, her expression a mix of guilt and determination. "I told you it was a potion to understand each other better, Ethan."
I searched the unfamiliar room, my heart pounding in my chest.
The closet door creaked as I pulled it open, revealing a collection of clothes adorned with cute stickers and cartoon characters.
There were no signs of Kaida, just her belongings.
I rifled through the outfits, feeling the soft fabric against my new skin.
A sense of unease washed over me as I realized I was truly alone in this body.
I picked up a shirt and examined it closely.
The fabric felt smooth against my fingertips.
I brought it to my nose and inhaled its scent—a mix of fresh laundry detergent and a hint of perfume.
Without thinking, I slipped off my jacket and pulled the shirt over my head.
The fabric clung to my body, accentuating curves I never knew existed.

I looked at myself in the mirror and gasped at the reflection staring back at me.
It was Kaida, but it was also me.
My mind raced with confusion and panic as I realized what had happened. I slammed the closet door shut, determination burning within me.
I needed to find Kaida and reverse this nightmare.
But as I turned around, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror once more, and a wave of self-consciousness washed over me.

My hands trembled as I reached for the hem of the shirt, tugging it down nervously.
The fabric felt tight against my skin, accentuating every curve and imperfection.
