I was babysitting for my friends Sarah and Mark.
Their house was a little weird.
It was covered in mirrors.
Not a single window in the place.
I asked them about it when they first showed me around.
They told me that the previous owners were into astrology, or something like that.
They said it was to ward off evil spirits.
I didn't believe them, but I didn't care either.
The baby was adorable, and their house was clean and nice.
I would overlook the mirrors if it meant I got to babysit such a cute baby.
I was sitting on the couch, playing with the baby's toys.
I had just finished feeding her, and she was playing with a stuffed rabbit.
I was watching her play when I saw something move out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look in one of the mirrors.
There was a clown standing right behind me.
I let out a loud shriek, and turned around to make sure that there was no one really there.
There wasn't.
