I'm babysitting tonight.
The house I'm in has something weird about it.
It's not the baby I'm worried about.
It's not the fact that his parents are going out for his birthday that worries me.
It's the fact that every window in this house is replaced with a mirror.
I've been here for two hours, and I'm still not used to it.
I keep thinking that I've seen someone standing just behind me, only to turn and find myself staring at my own reflection in one of the mirrors.
The baby is asleep in his crib, and I'm sitting in the rocker in the corner of his bedroom, watching him, trying to ignore the mirrors.
