Hey guys its jake here.

So I wanted to share with you all how I found my identity.

I'm now 17 and in my last year of high school.

But when I was younger I always felt like something was off.

I was at the age of 12 when I started to realize that I was different from the other boys.

I didn't want to play sports or hang out with the guys.

Instead I wanted to hang out with the girls and do what they did.

So I started hanging out with a group of girls in my grade.

We would do girly things together like paint each others nails, and try on different outfits.

We would sometimes even try on makeup and hairstyles.

The one thing that really stood out to me was that I wanted my hair long like theirs.

So I stopped cutting it and let it grow.

Now I have long beautiful hair just like my female friends.

As we all got a little older we started to talk about boys and who we liked.

I would just sit there and listen, not saying a word.

Inside though, I was dying.
