I was sitting in class minding my own business when I saw him.
He was new, I'd never seen him before.
He walked in through the doorway, carrying several books and a pad of paper.
He looked up and scanned the room with piercing eyes that seemed to flick over me without noticing me.
I was immediately drawn to him.
He was gorgeous in a way that no one I'd ever met was before.
He had dark hair that curled slightly at the nape of his neck and his skin was a deep golden tan.
I wondered where he came from.
The teacher stood, introducing him as Finley McFadden and asked him to take the empty seat next to me.
Finley smiled and sat down, immediately pulling out his notebook and pen.
I tried not to stare as he wrote down the homework assignment, but I couldn't help myself.
I wanted to know more about him.

I glanced over at Sarah who raised an eyebrow at me and mouthed 'what?' to which I mouthed 'new student'.
She rolled her eyes and turned back to her notes, clearly unimpressed.
