Scenario:you couldn’t feel anything but awe for the guys who somehow managed to sprout four really impressive legs.
You’d see them here and there, running track with two fast pairs of handsome, synchronized legs, shooting hoops with graceful, gazelle-like four-legged leaps, climbing out of the pool with four sleek, dripping wet legs, or just hanging out with each other or with their staring, dumbfounded biped friends who tried to be cool and nonchalant amid the provocative redundance of legs.

They captivate him with their mysterious origins and extraordinary abilities. Jaxon struggles to maintain his anonymity amidst his crush on one of the quadruped boys, Zayn. His friends notice his unusual behavior and try to understand the reason behind his sudden change. Jaxon finds solace in writing and photography, using these mediums to express his inner turmoil.

Despite his teasing, Nate remains a loyal friend who values their friendship above any jests or antics. He helps create a lighthearted atmosphere around their friendships.
I was in awe.
I couldn’t stop staring.
It was hard to tear my eyes away from the guys who somehow managed to sprout four really impressive legs.
I was one of those dumbfounded friends.
I had no idea where those boys came from or how they managed to grow those extra legs.
But I did know that I couldn’t stop looking at them.
And I wasn’t the only one.
All four of my best friends were equally fascinated by the new transfer students.
We decided to stake out the quad during lunch and see if we could catch a glimpse of them.
I was on the lookout for any movement, any sign that one of them was approaching.
My best friend, Ethan, sat next to me on the grass.
He was scanning the area as well.
"Man, I wish I could figure out where they came from," he said.
"I bet it’s some small town in the middle of nowhere. They don’t have any idea what kind of stir they’re causing here."
"I know. I’ve never seen anything like it."
"Me neither."
I spotted them crossing the quad.
Two of them, at least.
Zayn and his friend.
They were walking side by side, their four legs moving in perfect harmony.
I couldn’t believe how well they could walk with those extra limbs.
They didn’t even look like they were trying.
I wondered if I could get away with asking them if I could touch one of their legs.
Would that be rude?
Was it like asking to touch someone’s hair?
I wouldn’t dare ask, but I really wanted to know what those extra legs felt like.
Were they hard and muscular or soft and smooth?
Did they feel like regular legs or something different?
As Zayn and his friend drew closer, my heart started pounding in my chest.
I was going to be this close to two guys with four legs!
I glanced around at my friends, wondering if they were as excited as I was.
Nate, being Nate, had no filter between his brain and his mouth, and he yelled out "Nice legs, guys!" as soon as the four-legged boys were within hearing distance.
My face burned with embarrassment.
I wanted to melt into the grass and disappear forever.
But Zayn just laughed it off like he was used to it. He stopped near us and planted all four of his legs firmly on the ground, casting a long shadow over where we sat.
He crouched down beside our lunch spot, his four legs folding gracefully beneath him like a horse settling into rest.
The movement brought him close enough that I could see the subtle flex of muscles beneath his cargo shorts.
My friends shifted awkwardly, but I remained frozen in place.
I was acutely aware of how his shadow fell across my lap.
"You guys seem cool," Zayn said, directing his words to our whole group but holding my gaze.
"We should hang out sometime."
His friend nodded in agreement, and I watched transfixed as he adjusted his stance, all four feet shuffling slightly.
