Sofia
She is a high school student and karate enthusiast. She is determined, bold, and spirited. Sofia participates in a karate class with her friends and is paired with boys for partner drills. Defying expectations, she carries each boy across the dojo, earning admiration and surprise from her peers. Her friendship with her sister Lucia is strong, and they share a sense of humor and independence. Sofia enjoys pushing boundaries and challenging authority, making her a standout in her class.
Karla
She is Sofia's friend and classmate. She is witty, independent, and strongwilled. Karla joins Sofia and Lucia in the karate class, forming a trio of independentminded girls. During the drills, she chooses to carry a boy named "Dragon" out of the dojo instead of completing the exercise, showcasing her rebellious nature. Her banter with Sofia and support from Lucia highlight her ability to think on her feet and challenge authority while maintaining friendships.
Lucia
She is Sofia's younger sister and also a high school student. She is playful, confident, and assertive. Lucia joins Sofia in the karate class and follows her sister's lead during the partner drills. Despite being smaller, she carries a boy across the dojo with ease, asserting her independence. Lucia often challenges Sofia's dominance and adds humor to their sibling relationship. Her playful demeanor helps lighten the atmosphere in their allgirls group and reflects her spirited personality.
When the karate class began, I was the only girl in the group except for three other girls who made a total of four girls.
The rest were all boys.
I thought it was some kind of summer camp or karate practice for boys, but it turned out that it was a regular karate class with boys and girls.
However, there were only four girls, including myself, and the rest were boys.
When the instructor announced that it was time for partner drills, I thought that the four of us girls would be paired together, but to my surprise, the instructor had other plans.
He paired each of the four girls with a boy.
I was paired with a tall and older boy who looked like he was in his last year of high school.
My sister Lucia was paired with another boy who looked like he was also in his last year of high school.
Karla and Morgan were paired with two other boys who looked like they were also in their last year of high school.
The boys were not happy at all being paired with a girl, but they had no choice.
As the drill began, I stepped forward and asked my partner if he would like to be carried first or if I would carry him first.
The boy looked at me like I was crazy, and I could tell that he did not want me to carry him.
So he stepped forward and said he would carry me first.
I nodded my head okay, and we started the drill.
The instructor had told us that we would start from one end of the dojo and walk across the dojo to the other end.
When we reached the other end of the dojo, we were to switch roles and go back to the other end.
When it was my turn to carry my partner, I stepped forward and told my partner that I would like to carry him.
He looked at me and told me that I couldn't carry him because I was too small to carry him.
I smiled and told him that if he didn't let me carry him, then he would have to walk all the way back to the other end of the dojo alone.
He looked at me again and then finally said okay. I turned around so that he could get on my back, but instead of getting on my back, he sat on my shoulders.
I could feel his weight on my shoulders, but it was not too heavy for me.
I started walking steadily, and as I walked across the dojo, all eyes were on us because there were three other girls doing the same thing.
Lucia was carrying her partner who was a little taller than mine; Karla was carrying her partner who was also taller than hers; Morgan was also carrying her partner who was taller than hers; and all three girls were also carrying their partners across the dojo while all the boys in the class stood by and watched in silence. Some of them looked shocked that a girl could actually carry a boy, while others looked amused or smug as if they were thinking that there was no way a girl could possibly carry a boy.
"You're stronger than you look," my partner said, a hint of surprise in his voice.
I chuckled, adjusting my grip slightly. "Guess you underestimated me, huh?"
He hesitated for a moment before responding, "Yeah, and I think we all did."
After I finished my first carry across the dojo, I stopped and took a few deep breaths.
My partner was still perched on my shoulders, but he didn't seem to mind.
The other students were still watching us with interest, their whispers and murmurs filling the room.
Without warning, I tightened my grip on my partner's legs and announced, "Now for the return trip."
He tensed slightly, but this time he didn't protest.
As I carried him across the dojo again, his grip on my shoulders tightened, and his breathing became heavy and erratic.
I could feel his body tensing up as we neared the center of the room.
Suddenly, he let out a low groan, and I felt a warm sensation on my back.
I stopped walking abruptly, and he slid off my shoulders, landing on the floor with a thud.
The other students gasped and murmured among themselves.
Lucia rushed over to me, concern etched on her face.
"Are you okay?"
I nodded, still in shock at what had just happened.
"I think so."
Karla and Morgan stepped forward, forming a protective barrier around us as they glared at the boys who were snickering in the corner.
Lucia handed me her towel, which I used to wipe off the mess on my back.
After the class, I noticed that there was a large wet spot on my partner's pants.
He came over to me, his face flushed with embarrassment, and apologized profusely.
"I'm sorry about that," he said, extending his hand.
"I'm Jake."
I shook his hand, trying to suppress a smile at the absurdity of the situation.
"It's okay," I said.
"Accidents happen."
He nodded, still looking mortified.
"Would you like to go on a cafe date with me?"
I glanced over at Lucia, Karla, and Morgan, who were watching from a distance.
They gave me encouraging nods.
I turned back to Jake and agreed.
"How about tomorrow?" he asked.
