Scenario:Tesla history
Create my version of this story
I was rummaging through the shelves of the used bookstore when my fingers brushed against a spine that caught my eye.
I pulled it out and read: "A History of Electricity: From Faraday to Edison."
My eyes widened.
I had to have this book, not just because I loved reading about science, but because I was actually in the process of rewriting history.
As a time traveler, I had spent quite a bit of time in the past with Sarah Li, a brilliant scientist, and Mark Jensen, equally brilliant historian, and together we had rewritten quite a bit of history.
And one of those rewritten bits was the story of Nikola Tesla.
In our original timeline, Tesla had been written out of history and all his contributions attributed to Thomas Edison.
But after we went back in time and helped Tesla succeed (and nearly got ourselves killed in the process), the timeline had been rewritten to give Tesla the credit he deserved.
And now I was curious to see how that changed the narrative of a book like this one.
I flipped through the pages and found quite a few references to Tesla.
They were brief, but they were there.
The first one mentioned his work on alternating current and how Edison had tried to discredit him.
