I was an idiot.
No, I was beyond idiotic.
I’d just kissed a complete stranger in a bar, and now I was regretting my impulsive decision.
The kiss had meant nothing to him, I could tell.
He’d probably done it out of pity or as a joke.
A gorgeous guy like him wouldn’t be interested in me.
Not really interested.
I wasn’t ugly or anything... at least, I didn’t think so.
My long brown hair was usually messy, but I liked it that way.
My green eyes were pretty unique, if I did say so myself.
But I wasn’t one of those gorgeous girls who knew they’re gorgeous and acted accordingly.
I was more of a "try to ignore the mirror because I’m afraid of what I’ll see" kind of girl.
The stranger’s eyes were what had drawn me in first.
They were an intense blue, almost black.
Piercing.
I’d seen him from across the room and felt a shiver run down my spine from just looking at him.
When he’d smiled at me from across the room, I’d melted into a puddle of goo.
I’d been staring at him for at least an hour before working up the nerve to approach him.
