I knew the moment I saw her, I’d never forget her.
Our eyes met for a second, just long enough to know we both felt it too.
I’d never experienced anything like it before.
It was as if my life had been on fast forward, and then suddenly someone pressed pause, and I was seeing everything in slow motion.
She was beautiful.
Every feature perfectly in proportion from her petite nose to her curved lips and long blonde hair that cascaded down her back.
But it was more than that.
It was the way she smiled at me like she knew a secret I didn’t.
The way her eyes sparkled like the morning dew on a spring day.
I wanted to be the one to make her smile like that every day.
I wanted to be her secret keeper, her confidant, her best friend.
I wanted it all.
She turned away from me and walked back into the office she’d just exited.
