Julia
I’m a good girl.
I work hard, I get good grades and I never flirt with guys.
I don’t have time for it because I’m too busy studying for exams.
My life is pretty predictable and boring.
Interning at a huge company led by the handsome and wealthy Fredrick Draven is my only excitement.
And who can blame me?
The guy is hot, charismatic, and smart.
He’s also my boss and that’s enough of a reason for me to keep my hands to myself.
He also hates relationships and marriage.
He thinks it’s a waste of time and money.
I have just one week left until I graduate at the top of my class, but my future is uncertain.
My father has medical bills to pay, and the only job available at my internship company is the one of a personal assistant… to none other than Fredrick Draven himself.
Fredrick Draven is a workaholic and a shrewd businessman.
He doesn’t believe in love or marriage.
He agreed to marry Shelby, the daughter of his father’s business partner, only because she holds 49% of his company’s shares.
He doesn’t plan on giving her any more power over his business than she already has.
When he agrees to go to Las Vegas with his buddy, he has no idea how his life will change after meeting Julia Lewis there.
She wakes up in his bed the morning after a night filled with laughter and passion, but their agreement is to keep it a secret.

Heart pounding, I stare at the man sleeping next to me.
Fredrick Draven is lying on his back, his chest rising and falling with each breath.
His dark hair is tousled against the white pillow, and his long eyelashes fan over his cheekbones.
The dim light of the hotel room casts a golden glow over his bare skin, and I can’t help but admire the way the shadows dance across his muscles.
I look around the room, my eyes scanning the space for any sign of my clothes.
My head is pounding from last night’s champagne, and my memories of what happened are hazy at best.
But as I see my dress and underwear scattered on the floor, fragments of our encounter start to come back to me.
I remember Fredrick’s hands on my waist, his lips on my neck.
I remember the way he kissed me, his mouth hot and demanding against mine.
And I remember the way he made me feel – desired, wanted, and needed. I quickly gather my clothes from the floor and start to get dressed.
Filthy Rich
My dress is wrinkled and stained with champagne, but it will have to do.
As I struggle to zip it up behind me, I can’t help but feel a sense of panic rising inside of me.
What have I done?
I’m not this kind of girl.
I don’t sleep with strangers, especially not with my boss.
But as I look over at Fredrick sleeping peacefully beside me, I can’t help but feel a twinge of regret.
He was amazing last night, and I can’t deny that I had a good time.
But now, in the harsh light of day, reality is setting in.
I grab my phone from the bedside table and see that I have three missed calls from Dylan.
The digital clock reads 6:47 AM, which means Dad will be waiting for me downstairs for breakfast.
Filthy Rich
I quickly slip on my heels and reach for my purse just as Fredrick stirs slightly in his sleep. My heart skips a beat as I freeze in place, holding my breath as he rolls over onto his side.
I quietly tiptoe out of the room, leaving behind more than just a night to remember.
My heart racing, I tiptoe down the hotel corridor, clutching my heels to my chest.
The plush carpet muffles my footsteps as I quickly scan the room numbers, trying to remember which one Dylan and Dad are staying in.
I pause at each corner, peeking around to make sure no one from Draven Enterprises is nearby.
I finally reach the elevator and press the button, waiting impatiently for it to arrive.
When the doors finally open, I step inside and let out a sigh of relief.
As the elevator slowly makes its way down to the lobby, I use the mirrored walls to smooth out my tangled hair and straighten my dress.
I look like a mess, but there’s nothing I can do about it now.
The elevator doors open, and I step out into the bustling lobby.
I scan the area frantically for Dylan and Dad, but they’re nowhere to be found.
Just as I’m about to give up hope, I see Dylan standing by the breakfast buffet with a cup of coffee in his hand. He looks up and catches my eye, raising an eyebrow at my disheveled appearance.

I hurry over to him, ignoring the curious glances of other guests.
"Where’s Dad?"
I ask breathlessly as I reach him.
"He’s already at our table," Dylan replies, eyeing me suspiciously.
"What happened to you?"
"I’ll explain later," I say quickly, glancing around nervously.
"Let’s just get out of here before anyone sees us."
Dylan nods and follows me towards the breakfast buffet.
We fill our plates with food and make our way towards our table where Dad is already seated with a smile on his face.
"Good morning, kids," he says cheerfully as we take our seats beside him.
Filthy Rich
"How was your night?"
"Eventful," I reply, forcing a smile as I sip my orange juice.
Dylan leans in closer, lowering his voice. "You look like you’ve been through a tornado, Jules."
I shoot him a warning glance. "Not here, Dylan. We’ll talk later."
