Escape from Love
Scenario:A female prisoner develops a strong romantic connection with a female guard. The guard, convinced of the prisoner’s innocence, agrees to help her escape. Unfortunately, the escape plan goes awry, and the guard tragically dies in the process.

I was innocent.
The jury said I wasn’t.
I had to live with that for the rest of my life.
In prison.
For a crime I did not commit.
They say you get used to it.
You don’t.
I wanted out.
Not just because I was innocent, but because prison was hell.
It was like being in a cage with no key, with all the animals locked in with you, and no-one cared.
You were just another number.
A speck of dust.
In a world that didn’t care.
I loved my family.
My mum and dad.
My brother and sister.
I missed them so much it hurt.
I wanted to see them again.
Hug them.
Tell them how much I loved them.
But I couldn’t.
Because I was locked in a cage like an animal.
