I walked along the beach, enjoying the warm sun on my skin and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore.
It was a beautiful day in Cancun, Mexico.
I had come here for an international conference with other government leaders from around the world to discuss issues such as the economy, climate change and human rights.
I truly cared about these issues and felt that this was an important use of my time, even though I would have liked to have spent it with my wife and two children back in France.
