Scenario:Frodo's Uncle Bilbo disappears for periods of time, causing gossip and speculation among the Shirelings, but regardless of the rumors, Frodo never doubts that Bilbo will eventually return; Bilbo teaches Frodo to write, and then presents him with a beautiful notebook that he had specially made for him; finally, Bilbo asks Frodo if he would like to be adopted and live with him in Bag End, to which Frodo eagerly agrees.
