Scenario:Live action of Bluey
Create my version of this story
“Are you ready for your first day on set?”
I was so excited when I found out that I had been cast as Bluey in the live action version of the hit kids TV show.
I nodded as I pulled away from her embrace, and she smiled back at me again.
“Come on, let’s get you ready.”
I’d been friends with the cast for years, and I couldn’t wait to work with them all.
The first day on set was amazing, and I knew that this was going to be a lot of fun.
She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards my dressing room, where I quickly changed into my Bluey costume and sat down in front of the mirror so Sarah could do my hair and makeup.
My brother Jack had also been cast as Bingo, which made it even more special.
I was so nervous about filming my first scene, but Sarah made sure that I was ready, and I knew that I was going to be okay with her by my side.
He was only five years old, so he was a little bit nervous about being on set for the first time, but he soon got into the swing of things.
When they called me out onto set for my first scene, I felt like I was going to throw up.
I’d been dreaming of being cast as Bluey for so long, and I knew that it was going to take everything I had not to screw it up on my first day on set
We were both so lucky to be part of such an amazing show, and we couldn’t wait to get started.
When we arrived on set for the first day of filming, I could hardly contain my excitement.
“Hey, are you ready?”
Sarah asked as she pulled me into a hug before it was time for me to head out onto set.
The crew had done an amazing job of recreating the Heeler family home, and it looked exactly like it did in the show.
I couldn’t wait to get inside and start filming!
“You’re going to do great.”
I smiled back at her, grateful for her words of encouragement.
As soon as we arrived, Jack ran off to explore the set.
“Thanks,” I said as I pulled away from her embrace.
He was so excited that he didn’t know where to look first!
“I’m just really nervous.”
The house looked exactly like it did in the show, and I could hardly believe that I was standing inside it for real.
“You have nothing to worry about,” she said with a smile before she gave me one last hug and sent me out through the door onto set.
It was so exciting to see it all come to life, and I couldn’t wait to start filming.
The crew had done an amazing job of creating the set, and it looked just like the Heeler family home from the show.
When I stepped into the living room in full costume, everyone on set started clapping and cheering for me, which made me feel a little bit better about being there.
Jack and I had watched every episode of Bluey at least a hundred times, so I knew the house like the back of my hand.
The house looked exactly how it did in the show, with a big brown couch up against one wall and a TV on a stand next to it.
As we ran around exploring, I could hardly believe that I was standing inside a real life version of the house from my favourite TV show.
There were pictures hanging on the walls, just like in our living room at home.
The whole thing was really starting to feel real, and it was all that I could do to stop myself from freaking out as I took my place on the couch and waited for them to call action.
I was so excited when I found out that I had been cast as Bluey in the live action version of the hit kids TV show.
I was so excited to finally be on set and filming my first scene that I had completely lost track of time!
I’d been friends with the cast for years, and I couldn’t wait to work with them all.
The first day on set was amazing, and I knew that this was going to be a lot of fun.
As I ran around the house exploring all the different rooms, I realized that Jack had been missing for a while, so I decided to go looking for him to see if he was okay.
My brother Jack had also been cast as Bingo, which made it even more special.
After searching through the house, I finally found him standing in the middle of the hallway playing with his Bingo plush toy and staring up at the ceiling with his mouth hanging open.
He was only five years old, so he was a little bit nervous about being on set for the first time, but he soon got into the swing of things.
“What are you doing?”
I asked as I walked over to him and put my arm around his shoulder.
We were both so lucky to be part of such an amazing show, and we couldn’t wait to get started.
When we arrived on set for the first day of filming, I could hardly contain my excitement.
He looked up at me with wide eyes as he pointed at the ceiling above us.
The crew had done an amazing job of recreating the Heeler family home, and it looked exactly like it did in the show.
I couldn’t wait to get inside and start filming!
“Do you see that?”
As soon as we arrived, Jack ran off to explore the set.
He was so excited that he didn’t know where to look first!
“I think it’s just a light, Jack,” I said as I reached up to try to turn it off, but he stopped me before I could get there.
I followed him inside, and we both ran around like crazy, checking out all the different rooms.
“It’s real life!”
he yelled as he ran down the hall and out through the front door onto the veranda where they were setting up our next scene to film.
The kitchen looked exactly how I’d imagined it would, with a big wooden table in the middle and a big window out the back.
“Come on, let’s play!”
There were even some bowls of fruit sitting on the counter!
he yelled back to me as he threw his Bingo plush toy onto the ground and started hopping around like he always does when he gets excited about something.
As we walked through the house, Jack grabbed my hand and led me towards the living room.
My heart raced as we walked through the door, and I couldn’t believe what was standing in front of me.
I couldn’t help but giggle at how cute he was acting, but then I felt a lump start to form in my throat as the nerves from earlier started to come back.
“Sarah,” I called as I ran out onto the veranda after Jack, “I’m really scared.”
The living room was exactly like it looked in the show, with a big brown couch up against one wall and a TV on a stand next to it.
There were pictures hanging on the walls, just like in our living room at home.
“What if I mess up?”
Jack stared at them for a moment before he grinned at me.
She turned to me and gave me a big hug as she wrapped her arms around me and held me tight before she said, “You’re going to do great, Emily.”
We’re all here to help you, and I promise you that everything is going to be alright.”
“Look, it’s us!”
“Remember, we’re just playing pretend,” Jack said as he put his Bingo plush toy on his head and pretended to fall over, which made me laugh and feel a little bit better about everything that was going on.
“Yeah,” I laughed as I pulled him into my arms for a hug.
A few seconds later, I heard someone on set yell out, “Quiet on set!”
“It’s just like being at home!”
Just then, Sarah Liu walked into the room with her arms full of bags.
which meant that they were ready to start filming, so I took my place at the end of the veranda and waited for them to call action on my very first scene of the day.
It was so exciting to finally be here on set and ready to film my very first scene of Bluey, but at the same time, I was also really nervous about being here with all of my friends and family members watching from behind the camera as I tried to become a new character for them to fall in love with.
“Hey guys,” she said with a smile as she dropped them onto the floor next to us.
A few seconds later, my nerves were replaced by excitement as I heard the director call out for everyone to be quiet before she looked over at me and yelled, “Action!”
“Are you ready for your first day on set?”
As soon as I heard her say that, my heart started pounding in my chest as I ran across the veranda in my Bluey costume and jumped into Jack’s arms as he knelt down on the ground in front of me and held out his arms to catch me just like he always does whenever we play together at home!
I nodded, unable to keep the smile off my face.
“I’m so excited!”
When he caught me, he looked up at me with a big smile on his face as he said, “Are you ready to go on an adventure, Bluey?”
We’re both really lucky to be part of this show,” she said as she pulled us into a big hug.
and I gave him a big nod before I jumped down onto the ground and ran off to find the next thing for us to do together!
“There’s nothing better than working with your friends.”
As soon as I started running, Jack started giggling and ran after me as fast as he could while bouncing up and down like a kangaroo!
It was honestly such a surreal experience for me to be standing there on the veranda as Bluey for the very first time ever!
“Wow,” I whispered under my breath as I looked around at everything that was set up for us to film our very first scene of Bluey together on this beautiful veranda that they built for us outside of our house that was actually just a giant green screen!
It was honestly so crazy to be standing out here like this with Jack for our very first scene when we’ve been watching it on TV for so many years!
As soon as I walked onto that set for that very first time, it was really weird because it felt like I had been there before even though this was my first time ever being there in real life!
It was so strange because every single detail from the couch to the fridge was exactly how it was on TV, except for those little things that looked different because they were put up there for us to make it look like a real house instead of a fake one that we could only see on TV!
“Hey, Bluey!”
I heard Jack yell at me from across the set when he saw me standing there in awe of everything that was happening around me, which made me laugh and run down the hallway to find him standing in the lounge room with his Bingo plush toy on his head as he was bouncing up and down on the couch with his arms out to catch me when I jumped into them, just like he did earlier when we were filming my very first scene of the day!
“Are you ready to go on an adventure?”
he asked me again as he bounced up and down on the couch while holding his arms out to catch me when I jumped into them!
I knew that Jack was going to be so good in this role, but when I saw him bouncing up and down on the couch with his Bingo plush toy on his head, it really hit me that we were actually here on set filming Bluey today!
“Go back and do it again!”
the director yelled out from behind the camera after she stopped filming the scene for our very first day on set together.
“You need to turn around when you hear your name, not wait until I say action!”
As soon as she said that, her assistant walked up to Jack and quietly whispered something into his ear before he nodded his head and ran off to grab his Bingo plush toy so that he could do the scene all over again for her!
While Jack was getting ready, Sarah walked up to me with her phone in her hand and said, “I got it all on camera for you.”
“I never want you to forget the first time you walked onto this set, especially not when you did it for the first time with your little brother by your side.”
“Thanks, Sarah,” I said before she gave me a big hug and ran off to find Jack so that she could show him what she recorded for me while we were filming our very first scene of Bluey together!
Sarah ran off to help Jack with the scene again after she showed me the video that she recorded for me, which left me standing there in the middle of the lounge room by myself as I looked around at everything that was happening around me again, but as I was doing that, I saw Jack sitting on the couch with his Bingo plush toy in his arms as he was staring at the ground with a worried look on his face, which made me walk over to him and ask, “What’s wrong, buddy?”
“I don’t know if I can do this, Em,” he said before he sighed deeply and let his head fall back to rest on the couch behind him as he closed his eyes, which made me sit down next to him so that I could rub his shoulder to help calm him down.
“I know that I was so excited when we were first cast in these roles, but what if I’m not good enough to play Bingo?”
“I saw how good you were at playing Bluey when we were filming your first scene of the day, but I’m not even sure if I can be that good!”
“I don’t know if I can make Bingo come to life in the same way that you’ve been able to do with Bluey!”
“You’re going to do amazing!”
“You’re going to be the best Bingo anyone has ever seen!”
“What if I get it wrong?”
he asked me as he turned around to face me with a scared expression on his face, which made me wrap my arms around him so that I could give him a big hug before I said, “You’re not going to get it wrong, buddy, but in case you do, this is only our first day on set, so you will get plenty of chances to practise being Bingo before we get it right.”
“I’m just so nervous right now,” he said as he hugged me back and started to cry in my arms, which is when I looked over my shoulder and saw Sarah walking down the hallway towards us with a worried look on her face because she knew that something was wrong due to how long we had been sitting here together for, which is why she came over to ask, “Is everything okay?”
“Jack doesn’t think that he’s going to do a good job of playing Bingo,” I told her before she sat down next to us so that she could wrap her arms around him, too.
“Oh, sweetie, it’s okay to be nervous, but just make sure that you use those nerves to fuel your energy in the right way,” she said to him as she pulled away from me so that she could look into his eyes while she talked to him about how he was feeling inside!
“You were cast in this role because the casting directors saw a part of Bingo inside of you when you auditioned for them, which is why they wanted you to play her.”
“Just stay true to yourself when you’re playing this character and everything else will fall into place for you.”
