I was just a young dragonet when I discovered the ancient prophecy.
It foretold of five dragons from different realms coming together to fulfill a destiny that would change the course of history.
There was Lyra the night dragon from the shadows of the forest; Ember the sand dragon who roamed the dunes; Blaze the lava dragon who lived deep within volcanic mountains; Iris the rainbow dragon who soared through colorful skies; and Terra the earth dragon who guarded ancient ruins.
At first I thought it was just a silly story.
But then I began to dream of each other.
I met Lyra in my dreams first.
She had sleek black scales with silver eyes that shone bright in the moonlight.
We talked about everything under the stars, from how she loved to fly at night to how she was friends with all of the creatures that lived in her forest.
Then I met Ember.
Her golden scales glowed like the sun, and her fiery eyes burned bright.
She was brave and loyal, and told me of how she roamed the sand dunes with her pack.
Next came Blaze.
His red scales shone like lava, and his burning eyes seemed fierce.
