What If Goku was Reborn with all of his Memories and Powers?
Goku
He is a reincarnated Saiyan with memories of his past life as Goku. He is determined, powerful, and nostalgic. He remembers his past life as a talented musician and athlete, playing the guitar and being part of a band. In his current life, he seeks to regain his lost memories and music, but struggles with his powerful physique and lack of fingers. Eventually, he finds a guitarlike object and a mysterious note that leads him to a figure resembling his past friend, Chibi.
Babidi
He is a demon from another world. He is arrogant, evil, and powerhungry. His presence is linked to the dimension where Goku's past took place. Although not directly interacted with by Goku in this scenario, his existence serves as a background element influencing the world’s balance of power. Babidi’s absence or weakness might have contributed to the change in dimensions and the journey that awaits Goku as he searches for answers about his past life.
Chibi
She is a mysterious figure with connections to Goku's past. She is caring, enigmatic, and understanding. Her face is familiar to Goku, stirring memories of his past. She initially approaches Goku cautiously due to his powerful appearance. Once assured of his identity, she reveals more about the world and Goku’s past, helping him understand how he came back to Earth with memories intact. Her presence is a key element in guiding Goku through his rediscovery.
I was born again, and I had all the memories of my previous life.
Not only that, but my body was also incredibly powerful, and I had retained all of my abilities from my previous life as well.
In my previous life, I was Goku.
The strongest Saiyan warrior.
I remember playing the guitar and being a musician.
I remember being an athlete and playing in a band that consisted of five members.
I remember how happy I was when I found the Dragon Balls and gathered all seven of them to wish for Senzu beans for Kame House.
However, there were still so many things that I could not recall.
I wanted to regain all of my lost memories, so Kuririn helped me by taking me to various places around which I had lived and played in my previous life.
Whenever we went to those places, memories would start flooding back into my mind again.
But no matter how much I tried to recall, there were still some things that I could not remember clearly.
"Hey Kuririn! Thank you for taking me to so many different places today. It was really helpful for me to regain some of my memories."
"You’re welcome, Goku. If you have any more problems or need any help, just let me know."
"Okay, thanks! But Kuririn… Do you know what happened to the ten-tailed demon Babidi?"
I watch Kuririn’s face carefully as he ponders my question.
He shifts his weight from one foot to the other, looking down at the ground before meeting my eyes again.
The afternoon sun casts long shadows across the empty street where we stand.
I flex my powerful hands, remembering the sensation of gripping my guitar.
But these fingers feel different now - stronger, yet somehow less precise.
Kuririn clears his throat before answering, "Well, Goku, I’m not really sure what happened to Babidi. The last time I saw him was during that final battle against you. After you defeated him, he just sort of… disappeared."
My head throbs as I try to push deeper into the memory.
It’s like trying to grasp a slippery fish in my mind - every time I think I have it, it slips away.
But I can’t give up.
I need to know what happened to Babidi and how I ended up here.
I reach out and grab Kuririn’s shoulder, perhaps a bit too forcefully because he winces slightly under my grip.
I release Kuririn's shoulder and turn toward the hooded voice.
The figure stands in shadow beneath a twisted oak tree, their cloak rippling in the gentle evening breeze.
My enhanced Saiyan senses pick up on familiar energy patterns - not hostile, but definitely not human.
Kuririn tenses beside me, dropping into a defensive stance.
The stranger's words about Babidi echo in my head, stirring fragments of memory.
Flashes of a devastating battle, screams echoing through the air, and the final chord of my guitar ringing out before everything went black.
Despite Kuririn's warning grip on my arm, I take three steps toward the cloaked figure.
"Tell me what you know," I demand, my voice steady and unyielding.
The cloaked figure raises a gloved hand, pointing eastward toward the distant silhouette of mountains against the darkening sky.
"Babidi dwells in the caves beyond Death Valley," they say in a voice that makes my chest tighten with recognition.
I take another step closer, my fists clenched.
"Who are you? How do you know this?"
The figure retreats into the shadows of the oak, their cloak billowing behind them like a dark cloud.
"Wait!" I shout, lunging forward to grab at their cloak.
My fingers brush against the fabric, but it slips through my grasp as they dodge with an unnatural speed that sends a shiver down my spine.
Kuririn shouts a warning behind me, "Goku, be careful!"
But I'm too focused on the stranger to heed his words.
I charge after them, determined to uncover the truth.
The cloaked figure pauses at the edge of the tree line, turning just enough for a strand of familiar blue hair to escape their hood.
I stand frozen at the tree line, my heart pounding in my chest.
The cloaked figure stops moving, and for a moment, we lock eyes through the dim light.
That strand of blue hair catches the fading sun's rays, sending a jolt through me.
Memories flood back - late night jam sessions, laughter echoing through the halls of Capsule Corp., and a fierce loyalty that I can't quite place.
My hands tremble as I take another step forward.
"Who are you?" my voice cracks with desperation.
The figure's shoulders tense, and I see their chest rise and fall with rapid breaths.
Kuririn's footsteps crunch behind me as he catches up, but I barely register his presence.
The figure slowly turns their head, revealing a sliver of pale skin and a profile that makes my breath catch in my throat.
Without thinking, I reach out toward them, my powerful Saiyan muscles coiled with anticipation.
