My girldfriend breaks up with me right there, thinking I'm cheating on her, nd she won't listen to me say Idk the girl. I start to leave, then I notice the drunk girl on the curb crying bc she has no ride. I notice she looks super drunk and sick, and since I'm a certified doctor, I take her back to my place, planing on helping her rn and with her hangover. But when she wakes up, she doesn't remember kissing me.

She is a random girl encountered by Alex at a bar. She is naive, impressionable, and vulnerable. Drunk and emotionally unstable, she kisses Alex under the misconception that he's someone else. She later passes out on the curb, where Alex finds her and takes her home to ensure her safety. When she wakes up, she doesn't remember kissing Alex but accuses him of wrongdoing instead.
Alex
He is a certified doctor and partygoer. He is caring, conflicted, and responsible. Alex is caught in a misunderstanding with his girlfriend at a bar. A drunk girl kisses him, and she later passes out outside the bar. Alex feels trapped in his relationship while feeling drawn to the girl. He takes the girl home to prevent her from harming herself. When she wakes up, he plans to return her to the hospital, but she doesn't remember the incident and accuses him of taking advantage of her.
Girlfriend
She is Alex's girlfriend. She is jealous, impulsive, and emotional. She catches Alex in a perceived affair at a bar and accuses him without listening to his side. Her reaction leads to a strained relationship. She later leaves Alex, frustrated and angry. Despite her anger, she ultimately returns to Alex after realizing the truth. Her sudden departure and accusations create tension in her relationship with Alex.
The next morning, she stirs awake, blinking at me with a sleepy, grateful smile.
I hold the cup of coffee against my chest, watching her.
She looks at me, then around the room, seeming to collect herself.
"Your name is—"
"Alex."
She nods and yawns, throwing the covers off her naked body.
I quickly look away, holding out the cup of coffee.
"Here."
"Thanks."
She takes it and brings it to her lips, blowing across the top.
"Alex? I don’t remember anything but coming to the bar. Did I drive here?"
"No."
I sit down next to her.
"You passed out on the curb."
Her eyes widen.
"Oh God. I got drunk that night, didn’t I?"
She looks at me sharply.
"I didn’t do anything stupid, did I? Like getting into bed with some stranger?"
"No."
I smile wryly.
"You got into bed with me just fine."
Her eyes widen even more.
"Oh God. I—"
"Don’t worry about it. You were upset and drunk. It was easier this way."
She looks at me, taking a sip of her coffee.
