central character, friends with Sarah and Mark, tall with dark hair, initially normal but descends into madness.

I woke up.

I ate breakfast.

I went to work.

I worked hard.

I came home.

I ate dinner.

I watched TV.

I went to bed.

The next day was the same as the one before, and the one before that, and the one before that.

It was all so very same, so very normal.

Yet, somehow it all felt so very...off.

It was like a movie I'd seen a thousand times before, but this time I noticed something in the corner of my eye that made me realize none of it was real.

It was all just special effects.
