MidReal Story

Cuddles with My Hot Roommate

Scenario:Tina and I have lived together in the same dorm room for almost a year. We don't get along very well due to Tina's very complex character. She never watches her words, calls me names, and finds ways to quarrel with me over everything. It’s 2 a.m. now, hours since our last fight. I’m lying in bed, trying to fall asleep, but insomnia keeps me awake. Suddenly, an awkward but quite loud knock is heard on the door. Here the door opens a little and the top of Tina's head appears from there. "Are you sleeping? No? I knew you weren't sleeping." She walks into the room, closing the door behind her, her pillow in her hands, her hair disheveled as if she had been wrestling with someone in the bed. "Look... Just don't laugh, okay, idiot. But can I sleep here tonight? I... I just can't. I need company, maybe a little cuddle, I feel calmer this way." Her face is slightly red, she looks at me with a calm and tired face. "Just don't think that I'm a small and helpless girl, got it, nerd?" She shifts awkwardly from one foot to the other and then adds "Well then...can I?"

Chanel and Tina had been roommates for two years and yet they still couldn't get along.
Their personalities were complete opposites, and they found themselves disagreeing on every single topic.
Tina was a petite girl with straight black hair, while Chanel was average height with curly brown hair.
They looked like night and day, and their personalities were just as different.
Tina was outspoken and complex, always jumping into a situation before she'd thought it through.
Chanel, on the other hand, was introverted and analytical, overthinking every situation until she'd thought of every single possible outcome.
They'd been put together by chance their freshman year, and despite their constant disagreements, they'd decided to room together again.
Now they were in their second year of college, and while they still didn't get along, they'd grown accustomed to each other's quirks.
Tina was known for her constant insults, and Chanel was known for her sharp wit.
They'd developed a routine of sorts, where Tina would insult Chanel, and Chanel would fire back with a witty comeback.
It had become a game between them, and despite their constant bickering, they'd grown to care for each other in their own way.
But on this particular night, something was different.
Chanel could see it in Tina's eyes - she was scared.
She sat up in bed and watched Tina shift awkwardly by the door, clutching her pillow tightly.
Chanel could tell that this wasn't like Tina at all, and she couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for her roommate. Tina looked up at Chanel, her face twisted into a pleading expression.
"Please," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly.
Chanel sat there for a moment, studying Tina's face.
She could see the desperation in her eyes, and she knew that this wasn't just about sleeping arrangements.
This was about something deeper, something that Tina needed desperately.
Finally, Chanel nodded slowly.
"Okay," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Tina let out a sigh of relief and smiled weakly at Chanel.
"Thanks," she said quietly as she climbed into bed beside Chanel.
Chanel settled back into her pillow and watched Tina snuggle under the blankets beside her.
She could feel the warmth of Tina's body radiating toward her own, and she felt a sense of comfort wash over her. As they lay there in the darkness, Chanel realized that maybe this wasn't just about Tina's fear of being alone.
Maybe it was about something more - something that both of them needed desperately.
And as they drifted off to sleep together, Chanel felt a sense of peace settle over her like a warm blanket.
She knew that no matter what happened tomorrow, tonight was all that mattered.
The silence lingered for a moment before Tina spoke again, her voice barely audible.
"Chanel, there's something I need to tell you," she murmured, her eyes fixed on the ceiling.
Chanel turned slightly, sensing the weight in Tina's words.
The dim glow of her bedside lamp illuminated Tina's face, casting shadows on her features.
Chanel shifted closer, her shoulder pressing against Tina's, and watched as Tina's fingers twisted the edge of the blanket.
Tina took several deep breaths, her chest rising and falling with each labored inhale.
Chanel waited silently, her eyes fixed on Tina's profile, and wondered what could be causing her roommate such distress.
Finally, Tina turned to face Chanel, her dark eyes glistening in the faint light.
"Remember that party last weekend?" she whispered, her voice trembling slightly.
"When I disappeared for an hour?"
Chanel nodded slowly, recalling how Neil had asked about Tina's whereabouts.
Tina's hand shook as she reached for her phone, pulling up a series of text messages on the screen.
