Genny Hart
She is the twin sister of Owen Hart and a former WWF employee. She is passionate, impulsive, and heartbroken. Genny was engaged to Grand Master Sexay Brian Christopher Lawler, a wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). They were high school sweethearts, met at eighteen, and planned to marry. However, her father, Stu Hart, interfered and took her to work on WWF Raw, causing her to leave Brian behind on WWF Smackdown. Genny struggled with depression and selfharm due to their separation.
Grand Master Sexay Brian Christopher Lawler
He is a wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) better known as Brian Lawler. He is charming, devoted, and athletic. Brian was engaged to Genny Hart at seventeen and remained her closest connection throughout her life. He had a successful wrestling career under the pseudonym Grand Master Sexay. Despite being separated from Genny due to her father's interference, he continued his career while longing for her return and their future together.
Jerry The King Lawler
He is the father of Brian Lawler. He is passionate, assertive, and supportive. Jerry was deeply invested in his son's happiness and saw how unhappy he was without Genny. He played a crucial role in convincing Vince McMahon to reverse his decision by threatening to ensure that no one would work with him in the WWF again if he did not cooperate.
I was crying, and I wasn’t sure why.
I just knew that I wasn’t happy, and I could feel the familiar surge of depression and selfharm urges.
I curled up under the covers and reached for my phone.
I needed someone to talk to, and I knew exactly who I would call.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Sexay."
"Baby, what’s wrong? You’re crying."
"I don’t know. I just… I don’t know. I miss you. So much," I whispered.
"You're always on my mind," he said softly.
"I wish Vince McMahon would let me out of this contract. Raw sucks without you. Smackdown is so much better with the Radicalz."
Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, and Perry Saturn were my best friends in the WWF, and they were all on Smackdown.
They were known as The Radicalz.
"I wish you were here too," he said softly.
"I’m not giving up hope. We will be together again soon. I promise," he said.
"When?"
"I don’t know yet. But soon," he said.
"We have a lot of time ahead of us."
"I just can’t take much more of this. Vince is a total asshole," I said.
"He’s keeping us apart on purpose," he said softly.
"I know. And I know why. He hates my dad," I said.
I hear my phone buzz with another incoming call.
It’s my dad.
I hesitate for a moment, then switch lines to answer it.
"Hello?"
"I’ve had enough of this shit," he says, his voice tight with anger.
I can hear Jerry Lawler’s voice in the background, getting louder and louder.
"What’s going on?"
I ask, holding my breath.
"I’m putting you on speakerphone," he says, and I hear the sound of a button being pressed.
"Vince McMahon, you son of a bitch," Jerry Lawler’s voice booms through the phone.
"You think you can just screw over my daughter and get away with it? Well, let me tell you something, pal. You’re messing with the wrong family."
"Dad…"
I start to say, but Jerry cuts me off.
"No, no. Let me handle this," he says, his voice dripping with venom.
"Vince, you’re a piece of shit. You know that? You think you can just use people up and spit them out like they’re nothing? Well, let me tell you something. You’re not going to get away with it this time."
"Dad…"
I try again, but Jerry isn’t having it.
"No, no. I’m not done yet," he says, his voice rising.
"Vince McMahon, you’re a piece of shit. And I’m going to make sure that everyone knows it."
"Dad…"
I say again, but this time Jerry ignores me.
"Vince McMahon," he says, his voice dripping with contempt.
"You’re a piece of shit. And I’m going to make sure that everyone knows it." "Jerry…"
Vince McMahon’s voice comes through the phone, sounding confident and smug.
"You can’t do anything to me," he says.
"Oh really?" my dad asks, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Well then why don’t we see about that?"
"What are you talking about?" Vince asks, his voice starting to waver slightly.
"I’m talking about the fact that I know all about your little side deals," my dad says.
"You know what I’m talking about. Don’t play dumb."
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," Vince says again, his voice growing more panicked by the second.
"Oh really?" my dad asks again.
"Well then why don’t we see about that?"
"Dad…"
I try again, but he ignores me once more.
