I was never one to believe in fate.
That is until I met her.
The moment our eyes locked, I knew she was the one.
The one who would change my life forever.
The one who would make me a better man.
The one who would complete me in every way possible.
She was my destiny and I was hers.
Chapter 1
I never thought I would find myself in such a place.
Surrounded by so many powerful beings from all corners of the universe.
It was a sight to behold, really.
But the most beautiful thing of all was that I was one of them.
One of the Celestial Gods.
And I couldn’t be prouder of that fact.
I looked around the room and my heart swelled with pride as I took in the faces of two of my closest friends and fellow Celestial Gods, Marcus Lee and Aisha Patel.
We had been through so much together and I knew that we would always have each other’s backs no matter what.
But just then, my focus shifted from my friends to the entrance of the room, where Rihanna Carter stood.
She was the most beautiful woman I had ever laid eyes on and my heart raced as she made her way towards me.
It was as if time stood still and all I could see was her.
I couldn’t tear my eyes away from her as she walked closer to me, the force that had drawn us together from the very beginning only intensifying with each step she took in my direction.
I knew then and there that she was the one for me.
The one who would complete me in ways that no one else could.
The one who would make me a better man just by being in my life.
She was my destiny and I was hers, of that there was no doubt.
