MidReal Story

Captive" at First Sight

Scenario:His name is Kai. I met him at a bar. That day, I just wanted to cool down after breaking up with my boyfriend. We talked with each other, and he thought I was really cute, actually. I was sitting at the bar with my side facing him while he was facing me. I took a small sip of my drink and chuckled after something he said. He just stared down at me with a psychopath smile. He kept staring at me as I took another sip. Suddenly, I felt a little dizzy. I excused myself and went to the bathroom. I was standing in front of the sink, trying to figure out what was wrong, when suddenly the door opened. Kai stepped in, closed the door behind him, and locked it. "Wha-what are you doing?" I asked, my voice full of confusion, and I began to sway a little. "What is happening?!" Soon, I collapsed to the ground. With a small chuckle, Kai grabbed me. A few hours later, I woke up, tied up in a room. Kai soon walked in with food in his hands. My eyes widened in fear and shock, but I was still too weak to protest. "Wha-what are you doing..." He caressed my cheek lightly and whispered, "This is where you belong, just you and me." Pervert! I gasped, looking at him in disbelief and fear. He took the tray of food and put it onto the bed where I was sitting, grabbed the spoon, and shoved it into my mouth. "Don’t be scared, dear."

I ran into Kai, literally, at a bar after I had just gotten out of a relationship with my boyfriend of two years.
He had broken up with me that morning and I had decided to go out that night with some friends.
I was so upset I could hardly sleep, so I went out to distract myself.
I was sipping on a Cosmopolitan when I felt someone bump into me.
I turned to look at who it was and saw a tall guy with sharp features staring at me.
He had the most gorgeous eyes I had ever seen.
"Chanel," my friend called out, getting my attention.
"Hey!"
I gave her a hug as she turned to face the guy who had bumped into me.
Kai apologized for bumping into me and we started talking.

I was sitting at the bar with my back to him, but I could feel his eyes on me.
He told me how cute I was and that he wanted to take me home.
I took another sip of my drink, chuckling at something he said, and he just stared at me with this weird smile on his face.
I took another sip and started to feel really dizzy.
I excused myself and went to the bathroom.
I was standing in front of the sink trying to figure out what was wrong when the door opened and Kai stepped inside.
He locked the door behind him and I tried to ask him what he was doing, but then everything went black.
The next thing I knew, I woke up in a room tied up on a bed.
Kai came in with a tray of oatmeal and a glass of water.
He told me this is where I belong, just him and I. He untied my hands so I could eat, but I didn’t want to eat anything from him.

He sat beside me on the bed watching me as I ate every last bit of oatmeal.
My limbs were still heavy from whatever drug he had used on me.
I glanced over at my phone on the dresser across the room, seeing it light up with texts from Sarah.
An idea popped into my head as I looked back at Kai eating his oatmeal.
"Um, can I use the bathroom?"
"Captive" at First Sight
I asked, squirming uncomfortably in my seat.
He looked at me for a moment before nodding his head and helping me up off the bed.
As we passed by the dresser, I pretended to stumble so he would catch me and not notice me looking at my phone.
I leaned against the dresser, pretending to be dizzy from whatever drug he had used on me.
He rushed to my side and gripped my shoulders in his hands.
While he was busy steadying me, I slid my phone into the waistband of my jeans.
"I really need to use the bathroom," I mumbled, letting my head fall forward.
He guided me into the adjoining bathroom and stood in the doorway as I stumbled inside.
As soon as the door closed, I pulled out my phone with trembling hands.
The battery was at 15%, so I had to be quick.
I typed out a message to Sarah: "Kidnapped. Man from bar. Help."
Just as I hit send, I heard Kai’s footsteps coming back down the hallway.
"Everything okay in there?" Kai's voice was deceptively gentle, but I could hear the edge in it.
"Captive" at First Sight
"Yeah, just feeling a bit woozy still," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.
"You know, Chanel, I really hope you start seeing things my way soon," he said, his tone shifting to something darker.
