I am a 19 year old Korean boy.
I am the lead singer of a very famous K-pop group called "The Storm" alongside other members: Yihyun and Kun.
I have two periods in a year, and I'm currently on my period.
My boyfriend is an actor, and his name is Yeon.
He is currently acting in the popular Korean drama "Melody of the Sea".
Kun is ten weeks pregnant, and he is very happy about it.
His partner, Yihyun, is also very happy.
They are expecting a baby, and they are the parents-to-be.
I was very happy when I found out that Kun was pregnant.
I prefer Kun's company over Ro's, because Ro doesn't talk much to me.
Sometimes I don't even know that he is around until I see him standing in the corner of the room observing us with his big eyes.
I don't really understand him, but I think he loves us, and that's good enough for me.
Kun was very happy when he found out that he was pregnant.
He immediately called me on video call to tell me the good news.
I was very happy for him, and I smiled at him through the screen.
"Hello," Kun said happily.
"Hello," I replied with a smile on my face.
"What's wrong? You look so happy."
"Yes... I am currently ten weeks pregnant!"
I smiled widely at him.
I sit on the polished floor of our practice room, clutching my abdomen as another cramp hits me.
Kun is in front of the mirror, practicing his part of the choreography for our next music video.
His small baby bump is barely visible under his loose t-shirt.
I wince as the pain subsides, and I can't help but feel a little envious of Kun's pregnancy glow.
"You should take my period instead," I call out to him, only half-joking.
"I'd rather have your morning sickness than these cramps."
Kun stops dancing and walks over to where I'm sitting, sitting down beside me with a sympathetic smile on his face.
He places his hand on my shoulder and squeezes it gently.
"Sorry, babe," he says softly.
"But I think I'll pass on taking your period. I don't think my body could handle it."
"Besides," Kun continues, "there's something I need to tell you that might make you feel better."
I look at him curiously, raising an eyebrow.
"Yihyun and I have been talking, and we want you to be the godparent of our baby."
I lean back against the wall, processing his words.
My cramps are momentarily forgotten as I turn to face him.
"What do you mean?"
I ask, my voice a little shaky.
Kun settles in more comfortably beside me, one hand absently rubbing his baby bump.
"When we first found out that I was pregnant," he explains, "we were talking about who we wanted to be the godparent. And Ro immediately said that he wanted you to be the godparent."
I frown, confused.
"Ro?"
I repeat.
"But... why? I didn't think he even liked me that much."
Kun chuckles softly.
"Oh, Ro loves you," he says.
"He just doesn't always know how to show it. But when we were talking about the godparent, he said that you were the only one he could think of. He said that you're always taking care of us and looking out for us, and that you would make a great godparent."
I'm surprised.
I didn't think that Ro paid that much attention to me.
"But... what about Yihyun?" I ask.
Kun smiles again.
"Oh, Yihyun loves you too," he says.
"He was actually the one who brought up your name first. He said that he remembered how you helped him research pregnancy care when we first found out that I was pregnant, and how you made sure that I was eating well and getting enough rest."
I blush slightly at this praise, feeling a little self-conscious.
"I just wanted to help," I say quietly. Kun nods understandingly.
"I know," he says softly.
"And that's exactly why we want you to be our baby's godparent. Because you care so much about us, and because we know that you'll always be there for us no matter what."
I feel a lump form in my throat as I process his words.
No one has ever said anything like this to me before, and it means more than I can put into words.
"Thank you," I say quietly, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Thank you for trusting me with this."
Kun smiles again and pulls me into a hug.
"We know that we can count on you," he says softly into my ear.
"And we love you so much."
Just then, another sharp cramp hits me and I wince in pain.
Kun pulls away from the hug and looks at me concernedly. "Oh no," he says softly.
"Are your cramps getting worse?"
I reach for my bag to grab some more pain medication, but Kun stops me with a concerned look on his face.
"Wait," he says, "let me get you something."
He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a bottle of pills, offering them to me.
"Here, take these. They're period pills."
I reach for the pills, but just as I'm about to take them from him, Kun suddenly pulls back and stares at me with confusion.
"Wait," he says, frowning.
"You're not supposed to be on your period right now."
I freeze, realizing that I never updated my cycle tracking after it shifted last month.
"The company calendar shows that your cycle isn't due for weeks," Kun continues, his expression growing more and more worried by the second.
"What's going on?"
I clutch my stomach and avoid his questioning gaze.
"I don't know," I admit, my voice trembling slightly.
"Maybe it's just stress or something."
Kun's eyes narrow with concern as he gently presses, "But what if it's not? You should see a doctor, just to be safe."
