I asked.
It was my birthday and my friends threw a party for me.
They decorated the room with disco lights and played Pitbull songs on the background.
My friends gave me gifts.
Umar gave me a Minions doll, Gerin gave me a kopi barista playset, and Seto gave me a miniatur kereta KAI Solo Balapan.
I was so happy and thanked them for the wonderful gifts.
Evelyn Fedora Fonbeth, my new classmate from Spectrum School in Tangerang, gave me a gift too.
She approached me with a big smile on her face and said, "Halo Keisya Levronka, Ini hadiah versi Umar yang Minions."
She handed me the gift and I took it from her.
"Wow! Terima kasih ya Evelyn," I said, thanking her.
I opened the gift and found a cute Minions doll inside.

As the party continued, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the sheer energy of my friends.
The music was loud, and the lights flashed in sync with the beat, making it hard to focus on any one thing.
But then, I noticed Evelyn whispering to Umar and pointing towards a small stage in the corner.
Curious, I approached them, my eyes scanning the room to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
"What's going on?" I asked, trying to keep my voice above the music.
Umar grinned and gestured for me to follow him.
I trailed behind him, my heart racing with anticipation.
He led me to the stage where a velvet curtain hung, partially concealing whatever was behind it.
Evelyn joined us, excitement evident in her eyes.
"We have a surprise performance for you," she announced, her voice barely containing her enthusiasm.
With a dramatic flourish, Umar pulled the curtain aside to reveal a makeshift set resembling Princess Peach's castle.
I gasped in surprise, my eyes widening as I took in the details.
Evelyn handed me a toy sword, urging me to join her on stage for a playful reenactment of "Princess Peach: Showtime!"
I hesitated for a moment, feeling a little self-conscious about performing in front of my friends.
But Evelyn's infectious energy won me over, and I climbed onto the stage beside her.
The music started, and we launched into our impromptu performance, laughing and joking as we went along.
Suddenly, Evelyn grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the edge of the stage.
"Look!" she exclaimed, pointing towards the crowd.
I followed her gaze, and my heart skipped a beat as I saw...

"But you said you couldn't make it!" I replied, my voice a mix of disbelief and joy.
