I walk into the hotel lounge and look around.
I have a meeting with a client in a few minutes, and I’m supposed to meet her here.
I don’t see her yet, but maybe she’s late.
"Excuse me," I say to the guy at the reception desk.
"I’m supposed to meet someone here. Can you tell me where the lounge is?"
"There are two ladies waiting for you," he says.
"Two ladies?"
I ask, and he nods.
"Yes. They both said they were your client. One of them is definitely a prostitute. I don’t know who the other one is."
My eyes narrow.
"What do you mean?"
"They’re both waiting for you in the lounge," he says.
"But one of them…well, you can tell she’s a prostitute just by looking at her. I don’t know what kind of business meeting you have, but I thought I should warn you."
I frown and thank him.
I didn’t expect this kind of nonsense when I scheduled my meeting today.
I walk into the lounge and look around.
There are about twenty people in here, sitting in chairs or standing at the bar.
And sure enough, there are two women who look like they’re waiting for someone.
One of them is obviously a prostitute.
She’s dressed in a red dress that shows off her cleavage and skims over her curves.
Her hair is blond and curly, and she’s carefully made up.
The other woman looks familiar, but I can’t quite place her.
Billionaire's Secret Affair
I walk toward the center of the lounge, positioning myself so that both women can see me.
The blonde in red stands up right away.
"I’m Sun-Hee May," she says, smiling brightly and holding out her hand.
I shake it.
"Nice to meet you," I say.
"Are you waiting for me?"
"Yes," she says.
"I’m your client."
"No, I am Sun-Hee May," the other woman says, standing up.
I look from one woman to the other.
The blonde in red is smiling at me, but her eyes keep darting around the room.
The other woman looks calm, but there’s tension in her shoulders.
Billionaire's Secret Affair
I don’t know which one is my client, but I’m not going to figure it out by standing here talking to them.
"Let’s sit down," I say.
I walk over to a table and sit down.
They both follow me, sitting across from me.
"So," I say, looking back and forth between them.
Billionaire's Secret Affair
"Why don't you each tell me something only the real Sun-Hee May would know about our project?"
The blonde in red leans forward, her voice smooth. "We agreed on a marketing strategy that targets young professionals in urban areas."
The other woman smiles slightly, her eyes meeting mine. "And we also discussed expanding into the European market next quarter, which you seemed particularly excited about."
I lean back in my chair, studying both women's reactions.
The blonde in red maintains unwavering eye contact, her smile practiced and steady.
When I mention our previous video call about manufacturing costs in Berlin, she hesitates for a moment before nodding enthusiastically.
The other woman, however, immediately pulls out her tablet and opens a spreadsheet.
She turns it to face me, pointing at a column of numbers.
"Remember when we found that discrepancy in the third quarter projections?"
I stand up abruptly, turning to the blonde.
"I'm sorry, but you're not Sun-Hee May."
I gesture to the security guards who have been watching from across the room.
They walk over to our table.

"Please escort this woman out," I say.
The real Sun-Hee May watches silently as the blonde is led away, her calm demeanor finally giving way to a relieved smile.
I settle back into my chair across from her, and she straightens her navy blazer.
"I sincerely apologize for that unpleasant situation," I say, sliding the contract papers toward her.
She nods, her shoulders visibly relaxing as she pulls out her laptop.
The waiter approaches our table, and I order us both green tea.
Billionaire's Secret Affair
As she reviews the contract, I notice a few things that don't quite add up.
She's professional, but there are moments where her demeanor slips.
When she "accidentally" lets her foot brush against mine under the table, she giggles—a sound that's far more playful than anything I've heard from her in our previous interactions.
I shift my foot away, trying to keep my focus on the contract.
But it happens again, and this time, I can't ignore it.
"Is there something wrong?" she asks, looking at me with an expression that's almost coy.
"No," I say, pulling my foot further away.
"I just want to make sure we're on the same page here."
She nods, but her smile doesn't quite reach her eyes.
As we discuss the finer points of the contract, I start to notice other inconsistencies.
Billionaire's Secret Affair
When I ask about the specifics of our expansion into the European market, she seems evasive.
She keeps steering the conversation back to personal topics—asking about my interests outside of work or if I have any plans for the weekend. It feels forced, like she's trying too hard to be relatable.
And then there's the way she's leaning forward when she talks to me now, showing more cleavage than before.
It's subtle, but it's definitely not something she was doing earlier.
The final red flag comes when we're wrapping up our discussion and she suggests moving our meeting to her hotel room so we can "discuss the contract more privately."
Billionaire's Secret Affair
My stomach drops as realization hits me like a ton of bricks.
"Sun-Hee, why are you really here?" I ask, my voice steady but firm.
She hesitates, her eyes flickering with uncertainty before she leans back, sighing. "Alright, you caught me," she admits, her tone shifting to one of resignation.
