Betrayed Hearts: A High School Romance

Scenario:Gigi Ramirez is a sophomore in high school with a bubbly personality and can best be described as a “hopeless romantic”. Gigi’s appearance can best be described as having honey-colored skin (light brown-ish shade), olive-green eyes, curly, caramel-brown hair (shoulder-length at least), an apple-like build (broad shoulders, less-defined waist, leaner arms and legs, and a fuller bust than the hips) and stands at 5’7. One day, however, David Collymore (one if the popular kids), asks her out. David is described to have caramel-brown skin, chocolate-brown eyes, curly, messy, black hair, a muscular build, and stands at 5’10. Unbeknownst to Gigi, the only reason David asked her out in the first place was because of a bet made by his friends where David had to get Gigi to sleep with him by the end of the week. I was at the mall with my mom and sister when I saw him.

David Collymore.

He was one of the most popular kids at my school.

I mean, sure, there were other kids who were just as well liked, but David was on a whole different level.

He was the type of guy who had natural swag.

The type of guy who knew he was good looking and made sure everyone else knew it too.

His caramel brown skin glistened against the sunlight when he walked, making him almost irresistible.

Those chocolate brown eyes sparkled like a candy bar when he smiled, and his curly, messy black hair looked like it was styled by a professional.

And that body?

Oh man!

He had the type of build that screamed he played sports, which he did.

Football to be exact.

I heard he was really good too.

But what didn't need to be screamed about was his height.

At 5'10", he towered over most of the other kids at school.

I had seen him around before, but never really paid attention until my best friend, Sarah Jennings, told me that he moved into the house across the street from her.

She lived in one of the nicer neighborhoods in our town and David's family had just moved in, apparently buying the house cash, lock stock and barrel.
