Kaiju Hoshi is an autistic girl with aqua hair. She goes to U.A High school and falls in love with Izuku. Midoriya from My Hero Academia.
I was in love with Izuku Midoriya the moment I saw him.
It was his first year at U.A. High, and mine as well.
I had just moved to Musutafu from Oshima, and everything about this new place was intimidating.
The only thing that wasn’t intimidating was him.
He had green hair and big eyes and a smile that lit up the whole room.
When he spoke, he always looked down at his hands and his words were hesitant, but strong.
I loved him immediately.
But I was too shy to talk to him, so I just watched him from afar.
I watched him as he made friends with the rest of Class 1-A, as he became friends with the bullies that teased me, as he struggled through the hero course because he didn’t have a Quirk until later.
I watched him, but he never knew I existed.
And that was okay.

As I sat in Aizawa-sensei's lecture, my gaze wandered, unable to focus on the words flowing from his mouth.
The dimly lit classroom, with its rows of neatly arranged desks, seemed to fade into the background as my eyes drifted towards Izuku, seated a few rows ahead of me.
His attention was fully absorbed in the lesson, his brow furrowed in concentration, his green hair messy and unruly as always.
I felt an overwhelming urge to capture his likeness, to freeze this moment in time, and before I knew it, my hand was reaching for my sketchbook.
I quietly opened it, trying not to draw attention to myself, and began to sketch with quick, gentle strokes.
The pencil glided across the page, bringing Izuku's features to life - his determined eyes, the slight curve of his lips, the way his hair fell across his forehead.
Time lost all meaning as I drew, the only sound being the soft scratch of my pencil on paper.
Until Ochaco's gentle nudge broke the spell, her whisper barely audible over the rustling of papers and Aizawa-sensei's droning voice.
"Kaiju, Aizawa-sensei is coming," she warned, her eyes darting towards the front of the classroom.
Panic set in as I hastily closed my sketchbook, trying to appear nonchalant despite my racing heart.
But it was too late.
Aizawa-sensei's shadow loomed over my desk, his eyes narrowing as he took in the scene before him.

My heart skipped a beat as our gazes met, his expression unreadable.
"Is there something more interesting than my lecture, Kaiju?" Aizawa-sensei's voice was calm, but carried an edge of authority.
"No, sir," I stammered, clutching the sketchbook tightly to my chest, hoping he wouldn't ask to see it.
Ochaco leaned closer, her voice a soft whisper, "You should tell him, you know... about Izuku."

I stood up, my chair scraping against the floor, as the bell rang, signaling the end of the lesson.
The classroom erupted into a flurry of activity, students chatting and gathering their belongings.
I took a deep breath, my heart still racing from the encounter with Aizawa-sensei.
Ochaco's words echoed in my mind, urging me to take this chance to express my feelings to Izuku.
I glanced around, spotting Izuku packing his bag, his eyes still focused on the task at hand.
Determined yet anxious, I resolved to approach him, my feet carrying me towards him as if on autopilot.
The sounds of the classroom faded into the background as I drew closer, my senses heightened.
The smell of fresh paper and pencils wafted through the air, mingling with the scent of Izuku's shampoo.
I cleared my throat, trying to sound casual, "Hey, Izuku."
He looked up, his eyes locking onto mine, a hint of surprise flickering across his face.
"Kaiju," he replied, his voice soft and gentle, sending shivers down my spine.
I fumbled with my sketchbook, trying to find the right words, as Ochaco's encouraging smile flashed in my peripheral vision.

Suddenly, the classroom door burst open, and Katsuki Bakugo strode in, his loud voice booming through the room.
"Midoriya, what's taking so long? We've got training to do!"
Izuku's eyes darted towards Katsuki, a look of apology crossing his face.
"Sorry, Kacchan, I'll be right there."
My heart sank, my chance slipping away as Izuku turned to leave.

I watched Izuku leave with Bakugo, feeling the weight of missed opportunity settle in my chest.
Ochaco approached, her expression a mix of sympathy and encouragement.
"Don't worry, Kaiju," she said softly, "You'll get another chance."
I nodded, trying to believe her words.
As we walked down the bustling hallway, Ochaco chatted about upcoming training exercises, but my mind lingered on Izuku's gentle eyes.
We reached the cafeteria, where students gathered in lively groups.
I scanned the room, hoping to spot Izuku again.
Instead, I saw him across the room, laughing with his friends.
I sighed and joined Ochaco at a nearby table, determined to try again tomorrow.
The cafeteria's fluorescent lights hummed above us, casting an artificial glow over the sea of students.
The air was thick with the smell of cooked food and the murmur of conversations.
I picked at my lunch, my appetite lost amidst the lingering disappointment.

Ochaco tried to engage me in conversation, but my responses were monosyllabic, my attention still fixed on Izuku.
Suddenly, a loud crash echoed through the room, followed by a chorus of gasps and laughter.
I sat in the cafeteria, still reeling from the missed chance to confess to Izuku. Ochaco sat beside me, her hand on my shoulder as she encouraged me to try again. I nodded, watching Izuku across the room, laughing with friends. My heart ached with longing.
As I picked at my lunch, a loud crash startles everyone. A student has dropped their tray, drawing attention away from me. I take a deep breath, resolve building within me.
I stand up, leaving my tray behind, and walk purposefully toward Izuku, ready to speak my truth. The sounds of the cafeteria fade into the background as I approach him. The smell of cooked food and the murmur of conversations recede, replaced by the pounding of my heart in my ears.
Izuku looks up, his eyes locking onto mine, a hint of surprise flickering across his face. I take another step closer, my hands trembling slightly as I prepare to speak.
The student who dropped their tray starts to apologize loudly, but I tune them out, focusing solely on Izuku. His friends turn to look at me, their faces a mix of curiosity and amusement.
I open my mouth to speak, the words hovering on the tip of my tongue. Suddenly, a loud shout echoes through the room, "Food fight!" Someone yells, and the cafeteria erupts into chaos.
Papers and utensils fly through the air as students start throwing food at each other. I stumble backward, caught off guard by the sudden commotion. Izuku's eyes dart towards me, concern etched on his face as he takes a step closer.
"Kaiju, are you okay?" Izuku's voice cut through the chaos, his concern evident.
"I'm fine," I replied, trying to steady my voice amidst the flying food.
"Let's get out of here," he suggested, reaching for my hand with a reassuring smile.
