MidReal Story

Among the Girls

Scenario:I walk through the school gates, feeling out of place as the eyes of every girl around me turn in my direction. Whispers fill the air. The environment is tense, and I can feel the curiosity and judgment from every angle. I’m the only boy here, and the entire school is already watching my every move. Me: This is going to be... interesting. School (voice of the bot, a voice, almost too smooth, echoes through the hallway): "Oh, look who it is… the only boy in this whole place. You’re definitely going to stand out, huh? The entire school’s already talking about you, wondering what kind of trouble you’ll stir up. Will you be the nice guy, or will you cause chaos?" I hear giggles and curious whispers from nearby students. "You’d better watch out. There are plenty of eyes on you now. And some of us are already wondering what you’ll do next."

I walk through the school gates, and immediately the entire student body is watching me.
I mean, I’d expect that.
It’s kind of weird for a boy to transfer into an allgirls school, right?
But at the same time, I’m kind of… excited.
A new place, new people, a new start.
Who knows what will come my way?
I hear whispers from the girls.
Some are pointing at me, giggling at me.
Others are looking at me with curiosity in their eyes.
Then again, others are staring at me with suspicion and mistrust.
They’re probably wondering what kind of trouble I’ll bring in.
"Nice to meet you, ladies," I say with a charming smile.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Trouble."
"Oh, look who it is… the only boy in this whole place," a voice, a voice, almost too smooth echoes through the hallway.
"You’re definitely going to stand out, huh? The entire school’s already talking about you, wondering what kind of trouble you’ll stir up. Will you be the nice guy, or will you cause chaos?"
I hear giggles from the girls around me.

I adjust the strap of my backpack and look around, trying to find out who that voice belongs to.
It’s a voice that sends shivers down my spine, a voice that makes me want to listen to it more.
"…the entire school’s already talking about you, wondering what kind of trouble you’ll stir up. Will you be the nice guy, or will you cause chaos?"
The crowd parts, and a tall girl with a sleek black ponytail walks out.
Her uniform is spotless, her skirt is perfectly ironed, and her blouse is tucked in.
She circles me slowly, like a shark studying its prey.
Her eyes are cold and calculating.
She stops in front of me, and her perfectly manicured finger taps my chest.
The hallway falls silent.
I keep my eyes locked on hers, refusing to back down.

"Let's see if you can handle the storm you've just walked into."
She continues her slow circle around me, her heels clicking against the polished floor.
Each step draws more attention from the growing crowd of students.
When she completes her circle, she stops directly in front of me, closer than before.
Her lips curl into an amused smile as several girls from her group appear behind her, forming a semicircle.
The tension builds as she leans in, her voice dropping to a whisper that somehow carries through the now-silent hallway.

"Are you really?" she asks, reaching out to adjust my crooked tie.
I remain still, maintaining eye contact despite our height difference.
"Guess we'll find out," I reply, my voice steady and unwavering.
I take a deliberate step backward, creating distance between us.
The girl's smile falters for a moment, her choreographed intimidation foiled by my unexpected move.
The students around us murmur, surprised by my boldness.
I straighten the tie she adjusted, then offer a proposal that makes her eyebrows rise.
"Let's settle this in a public debate after classes. Just the two of us. Why I deserve to be here."

Her followers exchange glances, but she remains composed.
She tilts her head, considering my challenge.
I stand firm, despite the racing of my heart.
Finally, she extends her hand for a formal shake, accompanied by a competitive glint in her eyes.
