MidReal Story

Among the Girls

Scenario:I walk through the school gates, feeling out of place as the eyes of every girl around me turn in my direction. Whispers fill the air. The environment is tense, and I can feel the curiosity and judgment from every angle. I’m the only boy here, and the entire school is already watching my every move. Me: This is going to be... interesting. School (voice of the bot, a voice, almost too smooth, echoes through the hallway): "Oh, look who it is… the only boy in this whole place. You’re definitely going to stand out, huh? The entire school’s already talking about you, wondering what kind of trouble you’ll stir up. Will you be the nice guy, or will you cause chaos?" I hear giggles and curious whispers from nearby students. "You’d better watch out. There are plenty of eyes on you now. And some of us are already wondering what you’ll do next."

I stood on the stage and clapped my hands to get everyone's attention.
"Hello, ladies! I am the principal of this school, and I have some news to announce to you."
The students at the assembly stopped chattering and gave me their attention.
"As you know, we have a new student joining us today. His name is Ethan Hart, and he will be in the tenth grade. I want you to give him a warm welcome."
The students started applauding, and I smiled, feeling satisfied with their reaction.
"Thank you, ladies. Now, I will let Mr. Hart speak for himself."
I gave the microphone to the tall, handsome boy standing beside me.
He had brown, messy hair, and his eyes were full of curiosity.
"Hello," he said in a deep voice.
"My name is Ethan Hart. I transferred here due to family reasons. I'm not sure what my classmates have heard about me, but I don't want to comment on that now. I only want to say that I am adaptable, so I am willing to make friends with anyone."
His speech earned him applause from the students again.
I was pleased with his performance and decided to tell him some good news.
"Ethan, as you know, there are many clubs in our school. We offer a wide range of options for students to choose from. In addition to sports teams, we have music teams, debate teams, and volunteer teams. If you are interested in any of them, feel free to join."
Among the Girls
After the assembly, I walked through the hallway and saw students chatting with each other.
I was the only boy in this school, so everyone's eyes were on me.
I felt a bit uncomfortable under their curious stares.
Suddenly, a girl approached me with a confident stride.
She had a ponytail that swayed as she walked.
"Hi, Ethan, right?"
She smiled at me.
"I'm Lily. I'm glad to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too," I replied.
"I've never seen a boy in this school before. How do you feel about being here?"
"It's okay," I said.
"I'm not sure what to expect yet, but I'm willing to adapt."
Among the Girls
"That's great," she said.
"Since you're new here, I thought I could show you around. We have many clubs in this school, and maybe you'd like to join one of them."
"That sounds like a good idea," I said.
"I'm interested in the volunteer club. It seems like a great way to help others."
"You're right," she said.
"The volunteer club is very active in our school. We participate in many charity events and help those in need. If you're interested, you can sign up for it today."
"Thanks for the information," I said.
"I'll definitely check it out." "No problem," she said with a smile.
"If you have any questions or need any help, feel free to ask me. I'm always here for you."
I nodded my head and thanked her again.
Then, I continued on my way to the volunteer sign-up booth.
As I walked, I noticed that Lily was following me from behind.
I wondered why she was doing that until Ava appeared beside me.
She had a pixie cut that framed her face perfectly.
Her blue eyes sparkled as she looked at me.
"Don't let Lily push you around," she said in a low voice.
"She's trying to make herself look good by helping you."
I chuckled at her candor.
"Thanks for the warning," I said.
"But I think she's just trying to be friendly."
"You're welcome," she replied with a smile.
Ava smirked, crossing her arms.
"Friendly, sure, but she always has an angle," she replied.
"Just watch your back; not everyone here is as genuine as they seem."
Among the Girls
I nodded my head and thanked Ava for her warning.
As I continued on my way, the whispers of the girls around me faded into a distant hum.
Lily's tour had been informative, but Ava's words lingered in my mind.
Curiosity tugged at me, and I found myself wandering the halls, searching for answers.
I stopped in front of an unmarked door at the end of a quiet corridor.
It blended seamlessly into the wall, and if not for the faint scent of blooming flowers wafting from it, I would have never noticed it existed.
I pushed the door open, and a warm breeze enveloped me as I stepped into a lush garden hidden from the bustling school.
The air was thick with the scent of flowers, and a small group of students gathered around a table caught my eye.
They glanced up as I approached, surprise evident in their expressions.
"Welcome to the real heart of the school," one of them said, gesturing for me to join them.
Among the Girls
I settled at the table, and they exchanged knowing glances.
The girl who had spoken stood up, her striking green eyes holding mine.
"I'm Mia," she said, her voice steady.
"This garden is a sanctuary for those of us who want to escape the pressures of school life. It's a place where we can be ourselves without judgment."
I nodded, feeling a sense of belonging wash over me.
As I sat among them, I sensed that this garden was more than just a hidden corner of the school.
It was a refuge, a sanctuary where students could find solace and connection.
And as I delved deeper into their world, I realized that this garden held secrets and stories that would change everything I thought I knew about this place.
Just as I was starting to feel at ease, a loud clang echoed behind me—the garden's gate had slammed shut.
Panic flickered across Mia's face as she rushed to inspect it.
"This has never happened before," she muttered, her voice tight with tension.
Among the Girls
As she fiddled with the gate, I noticed a narrow path winding through the dense foliage.
I pointed to it, curiosity piqued.
"What's down there?"
I asked.
Mia hesitated, glancing at the others before responding.
"It's... unexplored," she admitted.
I exchanged a look with the group, and we all nodded in agreement.
"Let's go see," I suggested, stepping onto the path.
The others followed closely behind me, their footsteps echoing softly on the leaves-covered ground.
As we delved deeper into the path, the air grew cooler, and shadows danced around us.
Branches brushed against my arms, and the scent of damp earth filled my senses.
Suddenly, a faint rustling caught our attention.
Among the Girls
We paused, hearts pounding, as a figure emerged from the shadows, holding a key.
Among the Girls
The figure stepped into the light, revealing an older student with a mischievous grin.
"This," she said, holding the key aloft, "unlocks the room where the real secrets of this garden lie."
Her voice was steady, but her eyes darted around, ensuring no one else was watching.
I exchanged glances with Mia and the others, sensing a mix of excitement and apprehension.
The girl motioned for us to follow her down the narrow path.
As we approached a vine-covered door, she inserted the key into the lock.
Among the Girls
With a soft click, the door creaked open, revealing a passage unlike anything I had seen before.
The air was cooler here, tinged with a faint metallic scent.
The older student led us down the passage, and I noticed that the walls were adorned with old photographs and faded awards.
Mia leaned in close, her voice barely audible over our footsteps.
"This place has been hidden for years," she whispered.
"It's said to hold the secrets of the school's past."
We continued down the passage, and the path opened into a dimly lit room.
The space was filled with dusty books and forgotten trophies, their surfaces reflecting the faint light filtering through the windows.
As I scanned the room, my eyes landed on a peculiar emblem etched onto one of the trophies.
It was unlike anything I had seen before—a blend of ancient symbols and mysterious markings.
Intrigued, I reached out to touch it, my fingers tracing the intricate design.
The emblem glowed softly under my touch, and the room seemed to hum with a hidden energy.
