I was so excited I could hardly sleep the night before I started my new job.
As a secretary at the Winston Group, I would be working with some of the most powerful people in the country.
My new boss was Sebastian Winston, the CEO of the company.
I had heard he was a hard man to please, but I was determined to do my best.
Not only because I wanted to keep my job, but because I wanted to win his heart.
I wanted to be Mrs. Sebastian Winston.
When I got up in the morning, I put on my best dress and did my hair perfectly.
I looked in the mirror and was very satisfied with what I saw.
Petite, sharp features, big eyes, pretty smile.
I was perfect.
At 8:00 am I arrived at the company.
The building was magnificent and so modern it looked like a work of art.
Inside it was even more beautiful with its marble floors and luxurious decorations.
I went straight to the human resources department to finish the paperwork and get my ID.
After that, I went to the elevator to go up to the 20th floor where my new department was located.
When I arrived, everyone greeted me warmly and showed me where everything was.
My new colleagues were very nice and helpful.
At 9:00 am, Mr. Sebastian Winston arrived.
