After spending two years in prison for a crime she didn't commit, Olivia, also known as Tiger, is released and returns home to the Stormrider MC motorcycle club with a plan for revenge and a desire to protect her family, but she meets her match in the form of former Navy SEAL and single dad, Max, who is determined to have her despite her resistance, and danger threatens to tear apart the Stormrider MC family as they fight to protect their loved ones from a vengeful enemy.
I’ve been out of prison for almost a week, and I’m finally going home.
Home is the Stormrider MC, the club my father started and that I was born into.
I grew up around these men, and I know them better than anyone else.
My brothers have never left my side, and I’m glad to be back with them again after all this time.
I can’t wait to see my niece, either, and hold her in my arms.
But I’m not just here to be reunited with my family.
I’m here to take down the man who put me in prison for a crime I didn’t commit.
A man who claims to be my father, but who is nothing more than a monster.
I know he’s been working with our enemies from the other side of town.
They’re trying to take us down, and they’re willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.
I spent the last two years preparing for this moment.
Now it’s time to put my plan into action.
As our car pulls up in front of the clubhouse, I take a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves.
It’s been too long since I was last here, and I can’t believe how much I’ve missed this place.
The sound of motorcycles roaring by, the smell of leather and gasoline, the sight of all the different colors and patches the men wear on their cuts… it’s good to be back here again.
I push open the car door and step out into the parking lot, taking in everything around me.
My brothers are watching me carefully, concern etched on their faces.
They want to know if I’m okay, if I need anything, but they’re not saying anything yet.
They’re waiting for me to make the first move.
I smile at them both, trying to reassure them that I’m fine.
“Thank you,” I tell them before turning away and walking towards the main entrance of the clubhouse.
The two of them follow behind me, watching my back as we go inside.
The place is just as I remember it: dark, smoky, and filled with people who are all talking at once and laughing loudly.
There are a few women dancing on top of the bar, while others are sitting on one of the many couches scattered throughout the room, staring at their men with expressions of adoration.
It’s not an easy life we lead, but it’s one we’ve all chosen for ourselves.
We’ve all been through hell and back more times than we can count, and somehow we’ve come out stronger on the other side.
I’m no exception, and my time in prison has only made me tougher and more determined than ever before.
It feels good to be home again.
But there’s no time for sentimentality now; there’s work to be done, and people who need protecting.
