Yuri’s eyes widened in shock as his gaze fell on the ancient tome, hidden between two shelves.
He had read every book in this library at least thrice, and he would have sworn that he knew this place like the back of his hand.
And yet, it looked nothing like the books he had come across before.
He moved closer to the shelves, his hands trembling slightly as he reached out to grab the book.
Everything was happening too fast.
He wasn’t ready for this.
And yet, here he was, on the morning of his eighteenth birthday, staring at a mysterious book that was about to change his life forever.
Yuri is going to turn eighteen tomorrow and he is in a library that is almost as ancient as time itself.
In the library, there is a book, hidden behind two shelves that Yuri has never seen before.
It does not have a title, or author, or anything at all written on its cover.
Yuri has read every single book in the library at least three times and knows all of them like the back of his hand.
Yuri could not shake off the feeling of familiarity that he felt when he saw the book, sitting there innocently among its peers on the shelf.
It’s strange because Yuri didn’t know how it looked like until now, but he was sure that he had never seen it before.
At least in this lifetime.
The Prophecy of the Chosen One
Yuri’s eyes widened in shock as his gaze fell upon the ancient tome hidden between two shelves.
He had read every book in this library at least thrice, and he would have sworn that he knew this place like the back of his hand.
And yet, it looked nothing like the books he had come across before.
His hands trembled slightly as he reached out to grab it.
Everything was happening too fast.
He wasn’t ready for this.
And yet, here he was, on the morning of his eighteenth birthday, staring at a mysterious book that was about to change his life forever.
Yuri had known about the prophecy for as long as he could remember.
His father had shared it with him when he was just a child.
Of course, Yuri hadn’t taken it seriously back then, but now that his eighteenth birthday was just around the corner, he couldn’t help but wonder if there was any truth to it.
According to the prophecy, on the eve of his eighteenth birthday, Yuri would discover a hidden tome in the library that contained the key to his destiny.
This book would reveal everything he needed to know about his past and what he needed to do to fulfill his future.
His father had told him that one day, when the time was right, Yuri would be called upon to unite the kingdoms under one rule for peace and prosperity.
And on that day, the world would finally know peace once more.
But achieving this wouldn’t be easy.
