One day, it was discovered that in the inner core of the planet, there was another civilization.
“Dr Chang, it is our honor to be part of this global scientific effort,” Alice Johnson said firmly.
She was a geologist, a hair’s breadth away from getting her doctorate.
When she was called by the government to help in exploring Earth’s inner core, she knew that this was her chance.
“Indeed, Dr Chang,” Bob Smith continued.
He was an engineer with a lot of experience under his belt.
He was tall, with blue eyes and a pointed nose, and he had always been known for his logical thinking and resourcefulness.
He was the man you called when you didn’t know what to do.
Now that they were about to explore Earth’s inner core, they needed all the expertise they could get, and Bob Smith was on top of their list.
“It would be foolish of us not to be part of this groundbreaking scientific effort,” Sarah Lee said as well.
She was a biologist, with short black hair and a pair of glasses perched on her nose.
Indeed, it was hard to believe that there was another civilization living in Earth’s inner core.
It was as if they were living under our noses, but we couldn’t see them.
It was the team of physicists led by Dr.
Michael Chang who had been able to make the breakthrough discovery.
Of course, it took a lot of resources before they were able to conclude that there was indeed a group of creatures living under Earth’s mantle.
The government realized what an opportunity this could be for humanity, so they wasted no time in creating that global scientific effort and tasking these group of scientists to help out with the study.
The whole world was now eager to learn about our neighbors, and the government spared no expense in funding our efforts.
In a few years, we were already set for our mission to explore the inner core, but it took a lot of effort on our part to get here.
The inner core was where all the heat was concentrated in Earth.
Temperatures could reach up to 6000 degrees Celcius – something that could melt almost anything we made on Earth today.
Aside from that, it was a highly pressurized environment.
It was so dense that if there was a way to bring a piece of the inner core here on the surface of Earth, it would sink all the way to the very core of our planet immediately.
That was one of the main reasons why we had not explored Earth’s inner core yet – it was just too deadly for us to survive.
But now that we knew that there was indeed another civilization living there, we had to find a way to make it safe for us to go there because we just couldn’t pass up on this opportunity to learn more about our neighbors.
Our journey to the inner core was not going to be easy, but we were determined to make it happen – no matter what.
I took a deep breath and looked at the screen in front of me – it was filled with mathematical equations and physics concepts that I could not even begin to understand.
