Peter Griffin from family guy vs sigma from Megaman x in quahog mayor Hall
Even though I’ve been mayor of Quahog for the past year, I don’t really know how I got there.
It’s not that I didn’t want to be mayor; it’s just that it’s not something I ever thought I’d be, so I never took the time to think about how to actually become mayor.
So when Mayor West left town for a weeklong trip to get a new toupee, I was asked to fill in for him until he got back.
When he did get back, he decided he didn’t like the new toupee and moved to Mexico instead of coming back to Quahog.
Or at least that’s what I assume happened.
I’m not really sure because I haven’t seen him since.
So here I am, the mayor of Quahog, and despite my lack of qualifications for the job, I managed to get elected when my term was up six months ago.
I’ve honestly been trying to be a good mayor, but it turns out that being a good mayor is hard work.
Being a bad mayor is easy work.
That’s why I’ve gotten so good at it in the last six months.
I don’t think I’ve actually done anything since being elected.
The only thing I can remember doing is declaring a new town slogan, “Quahog, We Kinda Like it Here,” but that was only because we were having a council meeting and my mind went blank when they asked me for the slogan so I just said whatever came to mind at the time.
I was also really drunk at the time so that might be why my mind went blank.
As far as I know, that was the only significant act I did as mayor, but people are still talking about it six months later so maybe there was more to it than that.
This whole ordeal started two weeks ago when we had our annual town beauty pageant and every single contestant came down with food poisoning at the same time and there was no one left to represent our town in the Miss New Hampshire pageant.
That left us with no other choice but to send Lois because she was the only other woman in town who wasn’t suffering from food poisoning.
I didn’t really want to go and even though I had no other choice, I still didn’t want to go, so I started thinking about how I could get out of it.
I thought that if I was too busy doing mayor stuff, I wouldn’t have time to go to the pageant and I would have to find someone else to take Lois’ place.
That’s when I realized that I hadn’t done any mayor stuff since being mayor and everything just sort of spiraled out of control from there.
