Alternative universe of our reality where every single person can do literally anything what he want
Emma Thompson stood in the heart of New York City and breathed in the energy and excitement of the city that never slept.
The possibilities seemed endless, and she could hardly wait to explore the bustling metropolis with her friends.
“Are you ready?”
Emma asked Alex Johnson and James Smith, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
“I can’t wait to see what New York has in store for us!”
“I’m ready if you are,” Alex replied.
“Then let’s go!”
Emma turned and disappeared into the crowd, her long brown hair trailing behind her as she wove through the sea of people with an air of confidence that belied her age.
Alex and James followed close behind, their expressions filled with determination and a hint of boyish excitement.
The trio made their way through the crowded streets of New York, dodging taxis and weaving through throngs of tourists as they went.
Despite the chaos, they moved with an ease that suggested they had been navigating the city for years, and in truth, they had.
Emma had been coming to New York every summer for as long as she could remember, and after meeting Alex and James in college, they had quickly become a tradition for the trio as well.
The city was like an old friend, one that was always there to greet them with open arms no matter how much time had passed since their last visit.
As they made their way through the city, Emma’s laughter mingled with the sounds of car horns honking and people chattering as she enjoyed being back in her favorite place in the world.
She couldn’t help but smile as she thought about all of the fun adventures they had gotten into over the years, and she was excited to see what this trip would bring.
As they reached the end of the street, Emma paused for a moment to take in the view.
The Empire State Building loomed overhead, its majestic form stretching up into the sky as if reaching for the stars.
The streets were crowded with people, but even so, it was easy to see just how beautiful New York really was.
Emma loved to explore the city, and no matter how many times she had visited, she always seemed to find something new and exciting around every corner.
She was determined to do just that on this trip as well and had already begun mentally mapping out all of the places she wanted to visit before it was time to leave.
“Shall we?”
Emma asked as she turned back to Alex and James, her eyes shining with excitement.
“I want to explore!”
Alex glanced at his watch and shook his head in amusement as he realized that it was already time for their first adventure of the day.
“I should have known you wouldn’t be able to wait,” he said, his brown eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled at her.
“You know me so well,” Emma replied with a grin as she led them down a side street that was much less crowded than the main thoroughfare they had been on just moments before.
Suddenly one person came to Emma and Alex and introduced himself as resurrected Benito Mussolini
“Where are we going?”
James asked as he fell into step beside her.
“I’m not sure yet,” Emma replied with a laugh.
“We’ll figure it out when we get there!”
She had no idea where she was going, but she was confident that wherever it was, it was sure to be exciting.
Emma was the kind of person who seemed to have an endless supply of energy and a natural curiosity that sometimes got her into trouble.
It was a trait that Alex and James both found endearing, and although it often meant that they ended up in some rather precarious situations, they wouldn’t have it any other way.
As long as they were together, they knew that they could handle anything that came their way.
As they walked, Emma’s gaze landed on a narrow alleyway that seemed almost hidden from view between two larger buildings farther down the street.
It looked intriguing, and she couldn’t help but feel drawn to it as if by some invisible force.
“Let’s go this way,” she said, veering off course and leading her friends down the narrow alley.
“It looks interesting.”
“Are you sure?”
Alex asked, his brows furrowing with concern as he glanced around at the darkened buildings that loomed overhead.
He was the most cautious of the trio and was always looking out for their safety, especially when it came to one of Emma’s more spontaneous decisions.
Although he secretly enjoyed all of the adventures that she seemed to drag them on, he always made sure that they were as safe as possible before agreeing to go along with whatever crazy idea she had come up with.
“Don’t be such a worrywart,” Emma teased him.
“It’ll be fine.
Besides, when have my ideas ever gotten us into trouble?”
“You really want me to answer that?”
Alex asked with an arched brow.
“I’m just saying that maybe we should think about this before we go wandering down some random alley in the middle of New York City,” he said.
“We don’t even really know where it goes.”
“It doesn’t matter where it goes,” Emma replied with a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
“The fun is in finding out!”
James chuckled softly at their banter and shook his head in amusement.
He was the kind of person who was always ready for anything and never seemed to let anything bother him or get in the way of having a good time.
Of course, the fact that he was an ex–Navy SEAL who was literally built like a tank might have had something to do with it.
He was fiercely protective of those he cared about, but his easygoing nature made him easy to get along with, even when he was in the middle of attempting to break someone’s face.
He was also the kind of person who would do anything for his friends, and as far as he was concerned, if Emma wanted to go exploring, then that was exactly what they were going to do.
“She’s got a point, Alex,” James said with a smile.
“It’ll be fine.
Besides, we’re here to have fun, right?
What could be more fun than going on an adventure with two of your favorite people?”
Alex sighed heavily as he resigned himself to their fate and shot a helpless look over at Emma.
“Fine,” he replied with a chuckle.
“But if anything happens, I’m blaming you!”
“You wouldn’t be the first,” she teased him with a laugh and wrapped her arm around his waist.
“Now come on, let’s go find out where this alley goes!”
As they reached the entrance of the alleyway, Emma’s eyes sparkled with excitement and her heart raced in her chest.
She had no idea where it went or what they would find there, but she had a sneaking suspicion that it was going to be amazing.
